That i would Colin. Up until last week Ollie hadn't missed a game including 2 Final series.

And some people are hammering me!!!

We have some deadset soft supporters

If it makes you feel any better I'm sure BBO would be prepared to let you deliver a good beating with a long stick in order to get your anger out.....

I would never trash anybody who works for one of the most under funded footy departments ( development departments ) - recruiting departments in the AFL. ( All be it we have improved in this area thanks to funding from the AFL )

What is done is done. Last time I looked Jimmy T was running around in a Red & Blue jumper and thats good enough to get my 100% support.

Fair go mate. That kind of support is what Satyr gives out.

I want Top End September action before i leave the planet. Last time i looked Jimmy T was wearing a Scorps jumper, because he absolutely crapped himself in front of goal.

Nah BBO and i would go out for 39 Beers and get sh!tty together

I am with you, but you got to let that go now.

This is a new era. Different, more competent recruiters.

This era would have picked the ready made bull over the timid rabbit.

Shut up stuie.

Think you are missing something "I would never trash anybody who works for one of the most under funded footy departments ( development departments ) - recruiting departments in the AFL. ( All be it we have improved in this area thanks to funding from the AFL )"

If you want Top end September action you first better get your hand in your pockets or hope enough other MFC supporters are going to do the biz for you.

Let's hope Todd gives a full explanation tonight then hey.

We the shareholders deserve it.

I hope Mike is reading all this before he goes to air as background!!!

GET STUCK IN MIKE :)

You have no idea how many $$$ i have donated to the MFC.

But you just keep tucking little Jimmy T into bed each night. Make sure he is warm enough.

Meanwhile our midfield is smashed when put under ANY pressure.

Its not all about you SWYL. You need a large community to give. Sadly we have a small community giving . Unless we can reinvent the MFC quickly things are going to be tight for many years to come.

You want to feel better? Nothing he says will make you feel better.

Get behind Toumpas. He is one of ours. Wines is not.

T&w

Our coach is on 1.5 mil a year

I would be willing to say Goodwin and mcartney would be doing alright As well

Not all that underfunded these days

don't worry about t&w

in his previous incarnation he tried to convince us all to follow the direction carlton was taking

LOL

I'll be staggered if Mike asks this. I'd be surprised if he even knows it occurred. Todd Viney filling in as chief recruiter for a year is an asterisk at the bottom of a page; nobody but die-hard MFC teeth-gnashers know or care that Viney recruited for us or who he picked or who he didn't pick.

There are a lot of interesting aspects to the Viney tale Mike could cover, and this definitely isn't one of them.

We the shareholders deserve it.

None of us are shareholders. You've got tickets on yourself.

We saw (again) yesterday arguably the best player of a generation: Nat Fyfe - wasn't even taken in the first round.

The draft = informed guesswork. Very happy with Todd's work.

And what would that be Frosty?

I was just dialoguing that classic scene from A few good men with Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise. You want the truth "Sir Why You Little" about why Toumpas over Wines I agree we all want to hear this little pearler.

I want the truth about why you have gone incognito Frosty

Sorry Bitter trying to put up another image to try and improve my popularity on here. Any suggestions?

Because Toumpas was the standout choice at the time. Toumpas has proven to be an ordinary selection but recruiters don't get the benefit of hindsight.

FWIW, you were one of the 148 Demonlanders who voted Toumpas.

SS your favourite players are all duds. Time for an edit mate

Mike should confirm if the Mark Neeld/lollies in the coach's box story and the story of his run in with Stefan Martin are true.

Anything except for that creepy photo of the guy with a beard you had before FD.

Can I suggest Kenny Powers?

Sorry mate, but he blew a 10 year Brownlow prospect

I want to know why

Because predicting the future remains impossible, no matter how loudly critics will squeal if you make a mistake.

I hear you squealing, but it has changed nothing, and will change nothing. But you keep at it, buddy. Everybody loves a broken record.

Ahh good At least i am not standing alone here.

Tonight is a rare chance it may be spoken about

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
