Haven't gone through all of this thread, so forgive me if I'm re going over what's been said. I'm not sure anyone can be certain what was or wasn't said, or that the truth will come out. Certainly the media will massage it beyond recognition. However, IF Burns did refer to Houli as a terrorist, even if he said for a laugh that his beard made him look like a terrorist, he is a fool. I do not believe a conversation had in public within earshot of others is a private conversation. Private means only the recipient/s hear it. It has been reported it was made sitting behind a couple of children, which imo would make him worse than a fool. It's not being PC or do-gooder to out this alleged comment as vilification, it's just the right thing to do. If it was said and overheard, it is vilification and offensive.

I am not a hacker and have no way of accessing his metadata, but can anyone here categorically assure me that Houli is not in fact a terrorist?

Hahaha - Bachar is one of the nicest blokes you would ever met, quietly spoken and takes his role as a "role model" very seriously. He categorically has not got a bad thought going thru his body. He is a family man, loving caring person and a credit to his religious beliefs. Great team man and very well loved at the Tigers. And a Tiger is the only T word I would use to ever describe him. Just for the record I've chatted with him twice at Richmond functions.

I was trying for a Graham Gaunt effect, but Who will do.

I had to search that one, I do not remember him, and he played for us for 5 years, they were not memorable years.

A real factor here is that Burns was not sitting anonymously in a seat with a mate, he was a guest at a Richmond function. You don't talk about Richmond players like that even as a joke. It's not criminal, but extremely discourteous. He should have apologised without reservation.

HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
