Kent out for 10-12 (bumped thread)

You were attacked as your were badgering KC from Casey for info, like Purple or Hutch do to people to get a story out of them, not because of the information you shared. I questioned you on something without a sauce which i called rather ambiguous, which we have argued over already. So you will receive nothing from me.

and actually he said "Heard Kent did his hammy, any news?"

well he didn't do his hammy, scoop

Powerful forward Dean Kent, who played in the AFL Victoria Development League last weekend – his first match since injuring his hamstring in round four against Richmond – suffered some tightness and will now be a test.

“He had a little bit of tightness after half an hour of playing,” Misson said.

For all the usual suspects who follow me around and attacked me for asking about this on Saturday, feel free to not apologize as per the Demonland norm.

Just consider yourself lucky not to banned from the site because nobody questioned what you reported but instead, your boorish, spoilt brat behaviour in attacking KC who was reporting on the game and was under no compulsion to leave his vantage point in search of an official on the other side of the ground to comment on what was then a FB rumour. In fact, as he rightly pointed out, we would find out when the club issued its injury report, which is exactly what happened.

In my book, you owe him an apology.

Rubbish. I posted a short post asking if anyone had heard about Kent's hammy and I was immediately labelled a troll. Do your research before you start threatening bans.

Edit - Also, I never asked KC to "leave his vantage point" and so forth, all I ever asked was had he heard anything.

FMD. How much drama do you want to make this?

You were "attacked" as you were badgering KC from Casey and others at the game for info and then whinging/sooking when no one would answer you, similar to what Purple or Hutch do to people to get a story out of them, not because of the information you shared. I questioned you on something without a sauce which i called rather ambiguous because of the fact you were sauce-less, which we have argued over already. Plus it was my first run in with you as i usually actually agree with you on most things, so i am not a usual suspect, and therefore you will receive nothing from me.

Pretty bloody simple question. Does every single person who asks a question now need to post who their source is? (My source for that is myself btw)

You immediately posted a meme calling me a troll. Pretty obvious who the childish one is there.

Stuie,

Love your work,

Can we bring god into this so that this thread can be shut down... at least the other thread was entertaining.

I'm glad you enjoyed it hardtack. Unfortunately the thought of killing two threads in one day seems a bit too much for me, so I'm staying out of this!

Ok - so I need to find out about Dean Kent's hamstring, Sam Frost's foot and ManDee's back issues.

I will do my best and will report back tomorrow. Hopefully amongst all the talk, I can address my shoulder and knee issues as well.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
