Every now and then I come back to 'Land to see what's happening, then I read a post like this and I'm reminded why I shouldn't bother.

We're nothing without your moral compass Stuie.

More like the gravy diet.....

He has been on the gravy train for a long time now......

Good for you Stuie

He set his Camera to F: a t !!

Some say he has depression, some say inflation.

No two economists can ever agree.

but his bank manager gives him a A+++ credit rating

I know what he should eat.

He's eaten Sam Blease!

That made me laugh out loud....
FYI -
I've seen a few people on here mention that we are on the Paleo diet.

This is incorrect.

There are small but differences to the diet our boys are on. Our boys can eat Dairy for instance.

Mitch is on a see food diet.

Hate to burst the bubble but he isn't fat, probably lacks a bit of condition.

This was original, no?

Was it, have a look at the last post on The Diet thread. Bout three hours before you started this thread

tomato...TOMATO !!!

Yeah, me too. That's it. No belly here, just a bit of undercondtioning.

Scruie ... love you buddy! Where would we be without you? Post on the cliches thread please Stu -- you're (note dumb [censored], your/you're) expert in that area.

They say that Stalin wasn't really mean, just lacked a bit of empathy.

well aren't you just a gold-hearted magnanimous saint, defender of all those who carp on our great club

excuse me while I vomit

The guy is just a [censored].

I feel ill just looking at him.

I know stuie can be a bore, but there's no need for that!

This is not good.

Really supports the theory that somewhere along the line legitimate issues with mental health were warped to include a crippling lack of accountability to self. A mental health issue as well, but one that can all too easily be 'trained in' with poor advice and support.

This photo shocks me, part of me is hoping it is 'shopped, and it all leaves me worried about Mitch.

At a basic level, he simply can't take to an AFL field in that shape.

Do us a favour, print C&B's post out and stick it to the fridge.

The Paleo diet wouldn't do that. I'd say that all things considered, Mitch Clark has been on the SAD diet for a while now.

And yes, it is Photoshopped.

And yes, it is Photoshopped.

Definitely not photoshopped

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
