Neale Daniher and his entourage

Featured Replies

Is that Ivan Lendl just behind Whitey?

Ox and the Reverend were far from mates.

No Ox wanted to be there but couldn't make it.

He passed on his wishes to ND and told him that he (ox) said gday to him.

Pretty sure I saw it on Jeff whites facebook because someone shared it.

Davey, Whelan?

Well I am happy to hear that Ox has at least buried the hatchet with Neale. I know he wasn't fond of the way Ox behaved when he was at the club but if Neale has found it in his heart to forgive Ox then that is excellent.

Too much conjecture. Let's crack this [censored].

Back row: Jnr McDonald, Al Nicholson, ?Jared Rivers?, Brad Miller, Travis Johnstone, Ingerson, David Neitz

5th row: ? Doggy Brown, ?Aaron Davey, old guys, ?blue polo, Hopgood, Simon Godfrey, Yze

4th row: More old guys, Brad Green, Todd Viney

3rd row: Bizzell, Bruce, Robbo, Reverend Neale

2nd row: Stephen Powell?, Anthony McDonald, white polo, Leoncelli

Frost row: Rigoni (obscured), Febey brother, Jeff White, unknowns * 2

I played with a guy like OX who did not show one ounce of concern for the team except on match day.

Probably the best team mate you could ask for.

Amazing self confidence on field and little off it.

That is why sport is a fleeting magic.

2 unknowns in the front row are Paul Wheatley & Luke Williams. I think the blue polo is Matty Collins.

Also 'Balls' Grinter is stand next to Hoppy.

That would be Steven.

I presumed so. But I wouldn't be able to say which is which!

Who's the guy in the red shirt and the grey haired guy with the Mo?

Spike Harris

Edit. Actually Spike is behind Bruce and Biz. Not in the red shirt.

Can't see Neita

Neita is at the back, next to Yze.

It's Huey from Huey's Kitchen.

It's actually Matt Febey.

Would have expected Gady Lyon to be in that one.

What a fabulous photo. So many great memories.

Would have expected Gady Lyon to be in that one.

Probably made a bad choice about where to go for their last meet up so this time they didn't worry about consulting him.

THANKS for this photo. It is uplifting to see The Rev and his flock of followers.A great coach!

Jamie Shanahan is there and I'd betting Shaun Smith is the one with the bit of hair only near nathan brown.

FWIW apparently Matty Collins still absolutely loves the Dees, follows the club passionately.

Anyone worked out who the guy is behind White in the le Coq polo? And I can't see Davey there but others do?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
