I'd be backing both. They both can find plenty of the ball which is a trait we lack. The best teams have 10 - 12 mids. Some play on the ball, some play half forward, some play half back.

Half back was something new from him. And cleaner outside than previously. If we can't get a guy with these talents to be mainly a regular in a building bottom 8 team then we are doing something wrong.

Haven't seen much of him, but by quarter time I think it was clear he could be trusted to find a target coming out of defense. I found it strange that my heart wasn't in my mouth expecting the next kick to be a turnover.

He's in elite company at MFC. 100% certain round 1 2015, fully fit, he starts. And shows plenty from there.

Viv won't ever be a game-breaker, but he's streets ahead of most of our list in the simple fact that he rarely stuffs it up. He wins his own ball, has good hands and can be trusted to make a decent decision and hit his target over 30-40m.

Just watched the replay, if we can get the ball into Viv's hands more often we'd be a better side. He's got some speed, uses the ball well by foot! Hopefully we can get a full preseason into him!
