GAMEDAY - Round 21

My prediction. Dees will roll the midgets by 10 goals. Every one will gush and announce the 2nd coming of Melbourne. Someone unexpected will have a day out.

2-3 oppo will come off during game with season ending injuries.

Watts will also have a blinder as he's the nominated "Trapper" of the day.

Crystal Ball out !!

Anyone who thinks this game means nothing is clueless and has zero concept of what this club has to do to drag itself off the canvas and back to respectability

Yeah we'll get so much respect from a Sunday arvo win against another terrible team who have sent all their players off for surgery and don't want to win the game anyway...

Respect: finish the season with 3 wins derail Eagles & Roos give them something to think about in 2015, everybody hates us, we all happy at Demonland.

Disrespect : Win or lose to Liverpool Bandits, respectable 30pt losses to Eagles & Roos, we all still barrack for Dees, nobody else cares.

My thoughts exactly. Respect would have come by winning 1 or 2 of the 6 games that we have been in front in the last quarter, this season.

Today's game has given me a bad taste in my mouth before it's even begun.

Despite the public demeanor do GWS really have anything to gain by winning.....as opposed the other thing ??

I'm going overseas today.

The last time I was traveling overseas during a game was when we lost by 186 points.

Good luck, everyone.

Hopefully you're going to a completely diifferent part of the world this time.

I arrived at the game an hour ago. These kind of games let you know that you are a diehard.

The game is important for us but if we win it nothing changes. If we lose, prepare for the mother of all backlashes.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
