Redleg 42,190 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Didn't really impress before that... Watched him last week and he turned it over a lot. Would fit in perfectly.
rjay 25,428 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Looks like the second coming of Cale Morton to me. Yep
Machsy 2,858 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I think he still has a bit in him. Would be worth picking up, depending on the cost. Has height for a mid, serious agility & pace, was a bloody good kick in juniors, supposedly is very competitive and has right attitude & would theoretically be a lot cheaper now.
spirit of norm smith 16,681 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Was average against us last week. No thanks ...
Ted Lasso 19,586 Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Reminds me a little bit of Jordan Gysberts, if i'm honest I am a bit turned off the idea based on recent weeks
Wiseblood 24,637 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Jay Clark just confirmed on Twitter that O'Rourke has requested a trade from the club. GWS want a first rounder in return. Thoughts?
What 18,810 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Dreaming if they think they will get a first rounder Looks and plays like Cale Morton 2.0
jabberwocky 2,301 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 No idea, would he be part of a Sam Frost deal?
rjay 25,428 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Jay Clark just confirmed on Twitter that O'Rourke has requested a trade from the club. GWS want a first rounder in return. Thoughts? They shouldn't get a first rounder for him, he hasn't shown enough. Interesting hearing the Swans recruiter talking about Roos requirement was that they had to be a real competitor. I think this may count O'Rourke out.
Demon_JB 1,389 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Pick 2+22 for Shiel + O'rourke + Frost. Get it done Dees.

Bring-Back-Powell 15,576 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 O'Rourke for Toumpas staright swap.
Guest Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 O'Rourke for Toumpas staright swap. Hell [censored] no
pantaloons 2,019 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 At least Toumpas was supposed to go at 2 in that draft. GWS just Prendergasted their picks.
Bluey's Dad 3,419 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 At least Toumpas was supposed to go at 2 in that draft. GWS just Prendergasted their picks. I really hope 'Prendergasted' catches on. Good stuff

mordja 187 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Absobloodylutely O'Rourke for Toumpas quck where do we sign??? NO BRAINER! One of the better trolls on here if I look at bites / attempt. At least make it look like you're trying though. You're better than this.
Go the Biff 3,474 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 One of the better trolls on here if I look at bites / attempt. At least make it look like you're trying though. You're better than this. No he's not. If he had any degree of objectivity he'd realise O'Rourke has done nothing. Looks even less likely than Toumpas He's had a year of throwing slaps at Toumpas so I guess it's just PF continuing his form into the off-season
The Song Formerly Known As 6,479 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Absobloodylutely O'Rourke for Toumpas quck where do we sign??? NO BRAINER! i pray for you most days. I pray that you are not as stupid as you make yourself out to be.

Adzman 2,154 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Pfft, first round of the PSD is the only first round pick that will be used on O'Rouke again! His value is low. Shame for him really, but GWS gambled and it didn't pay off. Will be dealt for a second round pick.
CBDees 3,167 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Pick 2+22 for Shiel + O'rourke + Frost. Get it done Dees. This would be a very good deal for the Dees. Hawthorn haven't expressed interest for no reason! http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/jono-orourke-requests-trade-from-greater-western-sydney-hawthorn-circling-the-no-2-pick/story-fndv8lf1-1227073846310
Machsy 2,858 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Anyone comparing O'Rourke to Morton is wide of the mark. He might not be big bodied, but he has a sizeable frame to build on, and has a reputation for being very competitive, in spite of some of the comments here.

Hasn't really shown it yet 'Machsy' but if he is then I'm sure he will be in our sights.
Machsy 2,858 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Hasn't really shown it yet 'Machsy' but if he is then I'm sure he will be in our sights. I think I may have watched it to see a young Dom Tyson before he played for us, or maybe to see Shiel, but I watched a GWS video at one stage where they had the boys competing in a table tennis tournament to boost morale. A bit of fun was being poked at O'Rourke because of how determined he was to win at even that, and how he absolutely hates losing. I've also heard it mentioned from elsewhere. Nothing amazing, but I'd say there are good reasons why he was chosen at pick 2, and even if it was a reach, he still would've been top 10. Recruiting has come a long way in even just 5 years, and even with the substandard recruiting, I think we'd have still had a half decent return on those draftees if we hadnt combined it will substandard development.
