Was just looking at some stats and what jumped out at me was Aidan Rileys numbers

Despite averaging just 50.9% game time he ranks -

6th in clearances (2.0 per game)

5th in centre clearances (0.8)

6th in tackles (3.8)

They don't call him pig dog for his ability to melt a girls heart.

I can see now why Adelaide fans were keen to keep him! Plenty of grunt, gets where the ball is and is creative. Lets see him develop into a very good ball winner next year! Well done today!

Would love to know Why? WHY this bloke who at least has a bloody dip and tries his guts out in the midfield was subbed today!

FWIW Tapscott was the one I thought should have gone!

Hnmmm would love to know the thought process behing this one?!

Was one of our best players then got subbed.

Ever heard of "player management"? No (or limited) preseason, recovering from serious injury, game with no influence on the club's chances (this year).

Quite possibly told that he would get limited game time before he even went out there.

I am glad that we have an experienced hand at the tiller, who sees the bigger picture.

Watched the replay last night. Just reconfirmed that this bloke lays a fierce tackle. He will strike fear into the hearts of opposition players. Viney, Jones and Tyson will enjoy having him around in contested ball situations. The opposition will always be hearing footsteps.
