GAME DAY - ROUND THREE

Featured Replies

Viney been pretty ordinary

Terlich is terrible when he gets it, always gets caught.

Game over , unfortunately.

I can see the boys going in really hard today only to tire from it all in the third or last qtr and subsequently get overrun by the Giants.

If we can improve our F50 entries and hit a few targets we might be in with a chance.

If we only score 4 or 5 goals again I'll be extremely disappointed.

Prescient!

Usual story.... no surprises. The other team always finishing strong and over the top of us. Umpires paying easy frees to the opposition ensuring they get an armchair lead FTW. The agony continues

Roos, really pees me off not starting JKH....couldve been a different story in these conditions.

Geez, the Giants get a flocking good run in the 50 50s, don't they.

Game over.

Josh Kelly is so slick.

....so will we now start some Kelly vs Salem (or whatever) threads to replace the Wines vs Toumpass ones?

Footy sucks

. Yeah....another pathetic choice of coach :-((( [nothing to do with the players]

Im depressed..

Any chance we could have a go...

#fuckthisshit

Im depressed..

Me too

Any chance we could get it inside 50 and keep it there for more than 10 seconds?

Sitting here watching the game i always try and look for any positives i can when we lose and today i dont think i can find 1 positive out of this game. Not 1. Tyson was ok in 2 two quarters and dunn wasnt terrible. Thats as positive as it gets. How can we hope to win a game this year if we cant beat a depleted st kilda and gws? Anybody?

Another year of pain........53 inside fifties to 32 in their favour.

Just have to face it even this early, that we will be the wooden spooners.

Forget the haunting of Round 11 — we’ve got this. Melbourne returns to its inner-city fortress for its milestone 100th AFLW match, carrying a formidable 10–2 record at IKON Stadium. Brisbane’s record at the venue is more balanced: 4 wins, 4 losses and a draw.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
