Bevan's surprise bid for AFL return

Nominated and could be a late pickup for a club!! Think roosy would take him?

Played as a small forward in the WAFL this year, and kicked 55 goals, could be competition for Kent, Tappy, Byrnes in that smaller forward spot

As soon as I saw 29 years of age I stopped reading.

Only if he could replace one of Byrnes, Pedersen or maybe Nicho (possible).

thing is neither Tappy or Byrnes are in reality any competition for the spot......lol

Interesting that he's nominated financial terms. It either means he's already agreed to join someone, or he's not desperate to play and will only go (and therefore turn his life on its head, as presumably he is employed and so on) if it's worth his while.

Nice pickup!

Nice pickup!

It's interesting, and refreshing - 'If you want me, you can have me on this, for this long. Otherwise I am happy to move on.'

can you actually stipulate anything in the draft.... preseason yes...but national ?

I can't imagine any player at that age nominating terms like that unless he had already agreed terms with the team that will pick him up.

Question is just who exactly?

We'd have to be the favourite in the above scenario.

'New' players cannot from what I understand, but even that may have an age limit.

Players that have nominated before can name their terms if they wish I believe. I have the old CBA and not the new one so I can check but it will be from a 2 year old CBA.

only included other options as even though kent did well, he hardly set the world on fire, or did the jo required of a small forward. that spot is still well open, and whether it be an existing player or a new player to the club it is someones for the taking!

Not just open but the bed's made with little choccies on it !! ( sts ) Much is made of our taller timber but a live wire crumber -opportunist wouldnt go amiss by any stretch of imagination

Everyone remembers who Paul Bevan is right? Disciplined small defender like a B grade Nick Smith.

Footy smarts may have let him dominate WAFL but I'd doubt he would provide any on field impact as a small forward at AFL level.

Rookie draft if Roos wants another training/coach style player like Cross. Otherwise no thanks

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
