Dawes has been okay. Not terrific by any means.

Hopefully he'll be able to get on the park for most of next year alongside Clark and Hogan and THEN maybe he will be terrific.

I was driving through Richmond today and saw Dawes getting out of his car near Lennox Street. Looked to be moving very smoothly. Just thought I better report in.

I was outside his house and saw him banging his mrs and he didnt seem to be moving badly, Just hoping he doesn't pull a calf with his maneuvers

In all seriousness I hope he and Mitch can stay fit this season

(BTW, there's an apostrophe in there … Clark's. e.g. "MJT's one obnoxious post away from being banned" is very different from "MJTS one obnoxious post from being banned".)

Gary Lyons was a classic example of this! I hope that we don't have to endure another season of Lyons selecting against Melbourne every week in his footy tipping (serving to drive our player's morale lower than it deserved)!

I would hope that our players were professional enough not to be demoralized by one person's tipping, especially one with such an enviable record on coach selection!

I don't understand how fans can bag players for having injuries. Dawes has been terrific.

I shudder to think how much worse the player moral and professionalism would have been during the season if we didnt have Chris Dawes
