I'll be doing another end of year video again this year. Some might remember i did one last year. It was just a quick one with a few pictures of each player and a song to go with them. This year will be much the same, but i'll be grabbing a video or two to put in for a few players. Also last year i did it before the draft and trade, and free agency period had finished which meant there were still some players in it who no longer played for us. This year i'll hang back for a bit so it includes all the new draftees and ofcourse HOGAN. I've included a poll for anyone to fill in to help me out with the song choice and i've included the links to each song(with lyrics), for those who don't know some, or any of the songs. If you select other then can you please post which you would like, and i'll see about getting them. All the songs i have listed i already have.

edit: probably 3 or so songs will be in the video

The pop tart in me is partial to a bit of Gym Class Heroes, but you really can't go past the Benny Hill theme for season 2013.

it would certainly suit this season, but i think i'm going to be directing it more at the upcoming season, hence why i will be including the new draftees and trade gets. I don't think anyone would want a video that reminded them of 2013!

Try people up on it by bliss n eso and get some shots of the crowd on it. Always thought it would make a good footy video

i like it, but i'd have to try and find one thats sensored a bit as i don't think it would go down well with the admins

YD id go with whatever you think is appropriate trying to get consensus is like the horse designed by a committee.

There will be critics of whatever you do but I have enjoyed many of your contributions to date and look forward to your expression rather than something modified by others

Theres certainly plenty of help offered here but its also relative to the actual vision and you cant help but admire the passion of Dlanders. Too many great suggestions and too much music to select just one may need a compilation.

Looking forward to an inspirational outcome.

I like it all, but for a end of year video probably just an instrumental version,

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
