Its a bit like playing Where the f is Carmen Miranda !!! lol

If this one isn't up to scratch it's going to be where the F is Nasher, because I'm going to flee to the Seychelles or something. :P

I didn't think the subscriptions were that high!

Thanks again for your constant efforts over such a long time mate.

Thanks Nasher :)

i know its a bugger of a thing to do...servers...migrations..etc.....ah ...so glad its not me anymore :)

I don't mean to jinx anything, but I'm finding things really fast and distinctly lacking in error notices.

Mate, I work in IT; you just hexed the entire board.

Damn you, Titan!!

Never gonna get Shiel now...

Thanks for all your hard yakka Nasher. Now, silky smooth with pace and grunt .... just like our 2014 midfield!

Phew, was beginning to worry about those error messages.

Less workout for the refresh button, thanks Nasher.

Hopefully this is the last time.

thanks again Nasher, & to 'Demonland'... :)

& quick & clean...

YeeHah!

The best way everyone can thank Nasher is by contributing to the costs of the site.

You can do that either by taking out a Demonland Subscription (which removes the Advertisements and gives you access to the smarphone skin of the site) - http://site4.demonland.com/forums/index.php?/subscriptions/

Or if you have a Subscription you can always donate here - http://site4.demonland.com/forums/index.php?/donate/

Nasher has done a stellar job in moving the site twice in one week and the work he does behind the scenes to bring you this site is just incredible. I am putting together some thank you money to pass on to him so any contributions would certainly be welcome.

Please remember that in order to bring Demonland to you guys on this dedicated server I have outlayed a significant amount of my own cash which is ongoing so any help over the time is certainly appreciated.

Thanks again to Nasher and thank you to all who have contributed already and to those that get on board in the future. This site is the sum of all it's parts and we wouldn't have this thriving community without everyones participation.

Go Dees 2014 and beyond.

Awesome work Nasher

Now I can concentrate on not getting any trade news because there isn't any as opposed to not getting any trade news because I keep hitting refresh..... ;)

Has taken a while - but am now a fully fledged paid up, mobile skin using Demonland member. Many thanks for all those who keep the site running - keep up the good work guys

Nasher, Demonland, thought it was about time I put my money where my keyboard is. Just signed up for a Lifetime Membership. Least I can do after 7yrs of your much appreciated hard work by you guys.

There's only 360 people on the site at the moment. The real test will be once that doubles. If it can hold up under 800 I will be happy. I will be thrilled if it survives over 1,000.

Absolutely, but even at low traffic periods the previous site was crashing for me.

FWIW, it's 12.10pm now and the site is still going great guns :)

Mate, I work in IT; you just hexed the entire board.

Damn you, Titan!!

Never gonna get Shiel now...

Damn. I knew it.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 2 Jacob van Rooyen

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

Salem proved to be a valuable contributor as a reliable and solid one-on-one medium-sized defender in what was undoubtedly his most impressive season since the premiership year. He remains a highly capable rebounding option for the Demons as he approaches his 200th game at the club.
