Demonland Slow Again

Probably not. This issue appears and disappears with no rhyme or reason.

We are exploring a new hosting option so if you guys want to help out there is the donation and subscription links at the top of the page.

10 minutes ago it was lightning quick, & now its sluggish yet again.

What would be a reasonable per head donation? Obviously not everyone can kick in, but how much do you need? If you float some sort of a figure then I'm sure you will be supported.

BBO you are the richest man in DL can't you pay for it?

We would make you a thank you thread if you do.

Every little bit helps. It's hard to put a dollar figure on the time Nasher puts into the site which takes him away from time with his family.

Ironically, I believe that sentence might apply to many more people on this site than just Nasher.

Bah humbug!!

I like the new PG avatar .

It's good for the kiddies to see the "lads" relaxing.

Assuming it's two lads, in which case it will be banned from the curriculum in Russia.

do you mean bbo's sister comes with a dowry?

If you've seen her, you'd be demanding one.

BBo would need to part with several of the lads to move her on .

She can always come and work with me at the Gat if she has the required drive and dedication.

Thank you to those who have donated so far.

We have purchased a new hosting plan that we hope will fix the issues that we have been having. We are planning the move tonight so service might be interrupted for a few hours.

I plan to send some money to Nasher for his work above and beyond the call of duty. Any contributions you guys can make will be much appreciated.

You can donate by following this link: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/donate/

Or take a Demonland Subscription by following this one: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/subscriptions/

BBO, and i suspect most of maldon, still use the barter system, hence his efforts to offload his sister at the current exchange rate of 4.59 alpacas

..... you defragged to solve a web browsing issue?

montoya.jpg

choke i'm more at home with a hammer & chisel, or wrench in my hand.

I'm not an IT expert like yourself. so when there are computer issues, I try everything I can think of to try to sort the issue.

One thing that I have never stooped to, is to be a lesser human being,,, by trying to belittle others. you I suspect have a long road ahead.

....perhaps you can teach us all instead of wasting your creative spirit on negativity.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
