Well, looks like it's all over.

I really really hope Roos signs and we start improving because I have had an absolute gutful of this team. We are soft, dumb and slow.

Thank god we get a nice long break from this horrible horrible club.

I hope these umpires are sacked. They are disgusting and they ruin the game each and every week.

It's not a block on Minson you spud. It's called a ruck contest.

WHAT THE FRAK WAS THAT???

Go and shove it up your arse umpires.

Neil Craig it's your last match please go down and smash your whiteboard over the heads of the moronic umpires who have bent us over and repeatedly raped us HARD

I said this would happen [censored] typical [censored] no midfield costs us and they continually have three or four numbers to our one. No wonder they have kicked 7 this quarter

Looks like the Bulldogs have father-sonned the umpires as well!

OMG MCDONALD ARE YOU RETARDED FOR GOD SAKE !!! not only can you not kick you are mentally disabled

No more comments like that please... Completely unnecessary!!!

26 clearances to 10

what does this Royal fella get paid for?

Mckenzie with 2 disposals. Seriously for a center player starting 18 this is attrocious. We may as well have 17 players on the field

Hopefully his last match with this club has offered us nothing for years

Jimmy Toumpas needs to work harder!

Toumpas worked hard when Rob Murphy sprinted off down the ground when Griffen had the free and he busted a gut to follow him all the way down

his opponent on 10 touches. 5 times as many touches. We are better off just not having a tagger

It's been a Royal disaster since he arrived at the club. Not a midfield coaches left knacker.

Duds everywhere in our midfield, lazy lazy duds.

More possessions in this mallee than we've had all season.

Will Minson does have a seriously punchable head. I'd throw a hit too.

That's more like it! Good from Jordie not taking [censored] for Minson. Gawn and Sylvia having a go.

If only they showed that much effort on the field.

Didn't even realise he was out here till then.

Okay, Toumpas needs to get better.

How is it that we're making a team who was touted as bottom 3 look like this years premiers.

Happens every week and I'm over it.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
