This is icing on the cake (In the HS): Melbourne coach Neil Craig says players have opportunity to make club relevant in last four games of season

There were apparently 3 journos at his press conference.

It seems the only people who care about our club is us.

We are pathetic to be in this position again but this time its a lot worse.

I really cant remember a time I have felt so low as a supporter and bordering on not giving a shite anymore.

This is a really sad time in our history.

Take a deep breath DemonOX.

Forget the Dees for the next month.

Go to your local footy and see a close game.

It will give you some perspective back.

There is sporting enjoyment out there this August you just need a break from the MFC.

I'll tell you what I have been doing. I've been telling my 5 year old daughter that the Dees are winning. I doit every week. She, in turn goes to school and tells her mates that the Dees won again. Some say that's cruel. I say it's the risk I have to take to keep her locked in.

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

She doesn't need to know the hard facts just yet.

We are winning every week and that's all she needs to know.

I'm going to adopt the same theory with my son and save him from early developmental problems bought about by perpetual loss.

Screw the truth.

Excellent parenting. My commendations to both of you. Lies and deceit are the only way to prepare our children for the real world. Well done , makes me proud to be a D'lander.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
