I found his interview interesting. He certainly doesn't dress it up. Confident buggar too.

But, not sure what he was on the show for. Nothing to talk about really that was new, and few questions from Heally and Sheahan; none from Roos. Heally's question/comment about CC/tanking got smashed, and no questions about ASADA (either Dons or MFC). Boys a bit afraid to ask questions maybe?

So, self promotion? or a little dramatic tension vis a vis Roos/coaching?

I have watched PJ's interview a couple of times now and it dawned on me why he was on the program and imo he was pitching to Paul Roos.He was saying I am the Melbourne FC CEO these are my philosophies and beliefs on how to move forward. This is how we will structure and this is how we will achieve our rebuild. We will be chasing the best people.

Very clever, Roosy won't come to PJ at the moment, so PJ came to him.

Well done sir!

I remember them, mate, I remember....hell, we were all there....

What the bleep has happened????

something really spooked the admin after Gutnik left is my view. I have no idea what it was. But the club lost its balls.

If only we had moved into that Lexus centre. We have knocked a lot of oportunities.

This was what PJ was alluding to last night.

We still do not know how to become elite as a whole entity.

he did a good job if that was the motive.

Didn't miss a beat.

PJ speaks of hope, but the only thing giving us hope as supporters is himself and a just turn 18 year old playing in the reserves named Jesse Hogan.

Sad but true.

Geeze PJ was bloody impressive.

+ Jack Viney.

I thought the same thing, Roos seemed to be looking on with interest, hoped it worked.

Reminds me of an old prin I worked under, TSFKA - he acquired the apt name of 'show bags.' All glitter on the outside and full of shite on the inside.

But, I respectfully wait.....

Haha..that's great.

I remember when Mitch Clark filled me with hope. Now he just fills my Facebook newsfeed flogging his photography.

an easy stroll across the foot bridge from the 'G' to the premiership festivities after the game & the following days.

our troubles that hindered our growth,,, happened a loong time back,, & continued on. this Is the reason we have diminished in our support base... to almost inconsequential.

when other clubs are setting all member records we are sitting on the floor like a flounder looking for a worm.

its time Now, to start to do what we should have done back in the 80/90's.... we should have found a place to setup Social Facilities & Grow. we had another chance as you say, with Mr Gutnick, & after his time, but conservativeness has gutted us again.

'your not touching my backyard' attitudes, are whats haunting this club, not Norm... the same attitudes that got rid of Norm, are still killing the club.

Any chance that if we hire Choco Williams that Dusty Martin will come with him since Choco is a mentor. Would never happen but bloody hell it would be great

I don't want Dustin Martin at my club.

He's a friggin [censored].

the word "g un" is censored now??

The biggest thing i noticed during the interview is that PJ doesn't really stop talking, it seems like he wanted to say all of those things without giving others a chance to change the subject, so a pitch to Roos is possible, or a swipe at Healy, i'm not sure what the reason behind it was but it certainly seemed to me he had a message he wanted to get across to someone.

I remember when Mitch Clark filled me with hope. Now he just fills my Facebook newsfeed flogging his photography.

They are nice photos though

According to Trent Cotchin Martin has now learnt how to pay a phone bill and he does it on his day off. God we really are advancing with these players

They're okay, but as thrilled as I am that he's found himself a hobby, I'm really not interested. He seems to be getting pretty serious about it too. Openly seeking work.

Within hours of the North decimation last week, instead of a post about how determined he was to get back, he posted a photo of his dog chasing bubbles in the backyard.

I just hope he's back soon, and that the ongoing injury combined with getting thumped every week hasn't sapped his passion for the game.

It may be his way keeping life in perspective P_Man.

The Way Mitch appears to me is someone who is very serious about football and wants success.

Being constantly injured unable to doing anything would be hard for him to take.

If photography keeps him calm it is fine with me.

Whatever gets you through the night

I have thought for a very long time that the majority of footballers are not rocket scientists.

Dustin being a case in point.

However I think he fits into that select small group that would struggle to get fed if they were not good players.

Having said that he can play for the MFC any day in my book.

He is not paid to be a rocket scientist just a footballer.

At that he is way better than half our team.

Please come to the MFC Sir Dustin.

The lexus Centre option was ours if we wanted it is my memory but we didn't have the $15m (?) it was going to take to get us there.

As for Gutnick - he was a total disaster for our club. The classic example of someone in it for himself.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
