Fair enuff...

On another note, keep waiting for PR to fade in....Marty McFly style....Pretty sure George just dropped Biff in the car park

Lucky us!

Denham now saying he'll back us as a club with the (probable) team in place.

Seriously, he actually said he would basically stop calling us the bears and bagging us, even though he wasnt far off the mark. Maybe because all the main people have left the club. Maybe I will go back to listening to kb's show

My boss just got back from the MCC breakfast this morning.

Ox was one of the speakers and he reiterated that it'll be announced today.

Start the weekend early peeps, it's party time!!!!

just listened to aw news , just said that to be announced by end of day ,

Denham now saying he'll back us as a club with the (probable) team in place.

I'd prefer creep like him didn't.

His backing is just servile crawling of a person that lacks backbone.

We've had enough of them around the club over the last decade without letting a pathetic troll band wagoner join (even if it is going early)

Point taken

If by the site you mean Demonland, I'll take that bet. What are you putting up?

Oh, Jaded, don't tell that to the dev in charge!!

Oh, it's on!! This is World of Warcraft, man!

My money is on you Nasher, the site will withstand!

Hope its not to announce Geoff Walsh instead of Roos!

whos to say that wont happen as well ?? just saying

Jackson could appear flanked.....

PJ is a master tactician. He does the flanking.

wel..did say it logical to be today...before election. Be hard pressed to get a minute or a page in media after sat's results.

Since we did a hardware upgrade a few months ago the site's hardly blinked, even with Neeld happening and so on. You can never be 100% sure but I'm pretty damn confident you can all do your worst at slamming the site and it'll hold up.

Pincer movement - I like it!

Jackson, Ling, Tudor, Roos, Walsh Bartlett and one very long sponsors board behind them

PJ says " welcome to the new era of the MFC, questions?

i'd be okay with that i reckon :D

Today will be a big day to test it. And I'm going all in on for site to withstand.

(Looking around for a spare shirt just in case)

Roosy the man at Demons expected today. The Tuesday return of his wife was a furfy given they had already spoken at family dinner

Tweet from Jon Ralph

I just want to hear that a press conference has been confirmed. Then I can start getting excited

Roos set to be announced today. The whole waiting till tuesday was a gimmick. The family had already discussed over family dinner he would coach.

While Denham can eat of bag, I am relying on the Bandwagoners to pay for Roos.

WELCOME LOST DEMONS!!

THE G DOES LOOK DIFFERENT DOESN'T IT? IT WAS RECENTLY REVAMPED...SEVERAL YEARS AGO...

NO, I AM AFRAID THAT BROCK McLEAN DOES NOT PLAY FOR MELBOURNE ANYMORE...

BUT THERE ARE MANY PLAYERS OF REASONABLE TALENT TO WATCH!

ENJOY!

anyone see that [censored] bag on fox sport news from sydney, report on wce/melb-roos love triangle? what a moron!! was reporting facts about 2 weeks out of date.

Can he pull out after the presser or is that a paranoid thought?

PJ is a master tactician. He does the flanking.

what I mean is he might have company.

Roos isnt tha style of egostist where hed want a big song and dance.

Hypothetical

Jackson appears at presser:

The MFC is proud to announce the following appointments

Heading up our Football operations.. Geoff Walsh... Geoff has .........

Melbournes new coach for the 2014 season .....

Using the WoW analogy, didn't Blizzard upgrade their servers sometime in 2004 and shortly after all the NPC's vanished from Kalimdor?

Also Hakkari plague. Good times.

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
