one man ... Chris Judd. He would have made a difference.

nah, he chose his straw bed, with shredded paper... he can lay in it.

& he won't hold silverware again.

Let's see what the wash-up is from the Dank story before we figure out what to do with the coach and the FD. Craig and Misson I would love to keep but if we end up with a Co-Captain banned for a year I am taking names and kicking arse.

We all want an experienced coach but that may mean Ratten or Williams.

The latter excites more than the former but that is where the industry is at.

A new President that has some heft would be good but may not be out there.

A industry 'gold standard' CEO would be good.

Young mids entering their prime would be good - they don't have to be stars but a fierce attack on the footy and decent skills would be desirable.

Experienced mids to help out would be an option too. Less desirable, but necessary should we go into 2014 with the same list.

All of this will occur in September and October so we have time to listen to Jackson and see where he thinks we should head.

I'm not convinced Ratten's even an ordinary coach. He always lacked KPFs at Carlton. You could question his lack of recruiting one, but despite have some promising youngsters under his tutelage, he was good with our midfield.

Agreed. Carlton's culture changed so much more for the better when he got on board. I believe he said he was impressed with our presentation but felt that training at the Junction Oval would be an 'issue'.

Get your blinkers off and admit he would have been a game changer.

Geez, Green from GWS looks like a very good footballer in the making. Smooth mover. Would like to see someone like him come to the Dees.

Yeah, Greene looks great. Not as solid defensively though. I'd take him in a heartbeat though.

While their are far better players I'd love to have Ollie Wines, cant believe we didnt choose him despite he and Viney's history :(

Change of president is also needed

That's right Stuie the super troll is back, purporting to be a life long demon, FMD some people must have a boring life. Look forward to Demonland being inundated with his pathetic polls next week, different titles but the same meaning

One man, Nat Fyfe, because he has dominated every side this year.

He is a ball magnet who doesn't care if other don't step up and help him, he'll just do it himself.

Best up and coming talent I've ever seen.

Pay him whatever he wants and cut half the spuds only our sides rates and pays through the teeth.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
