Its Time

Who heard Neil Mitchell this morning.

It is time that something happens, not in six months time it must happen this week.

Cameron Schwab must go.

Make changes this week possible inclusions Spencer, Gawn, Fitzpatrick, Tapscott, Magner.

Put Watts up Forward and give him a Leadership role

Players to shave off their Beards

Board members to sit amonst the members for the game on Saturday.

Have a aftermatch function

Fitzpatrick injured, so not eligible, AND has no form. Magner ineligible due to being a rookie. If you suggest changes, make them informed.

Oh, and Neil Mitchell is a shock jock with a very thin veneer of respectability....

magners a rookie so someone would need to be on injury list. Max Gawn monstered it at VFL level. There is some hope.

Gawn was impressive in the VFL goals video just uploaded by the club. Can take a good grab and has put on some bulk, still just a kid too. I recon we may have gotten at least one recruiting choice right in him.

In the short term worth trying Gawn, Jamar is in strife, Spencer should be given a run. While we are at it, give Dom Barry and Rory Taggart a spin,

ITS - Time??????

ts time when the players are fit to play, then its time to select them. not by any other reason of knee jerks.

Tommy Mac came back last week and underdone.

Clarke is playing Underdone

Trenners came in, to give some needed leadership & is underdone after a serious foot injury

Davey come in for his first game & played well early in the game

Watts was sick & down on form

*******************

Magner sounds ready to resume, if we get an injury

Jetta is ready to fly the Flag

Bail may be right in 2 weeks of match fitness

Evans is a clever small running player who needs a go

& Tapscott isn't far off

& more to come

*************

when we can got most of our experienced players back out onto the park & fit, it'll be time to start Winning!

Wait, is Magner coming in directly for Schwab? Fair enough, Schwabby didn't even get a kick on the weekend. I like Tapscott and a bunch of underdone players coming back in being the answer, too, because that way next week dropping Tapscott and a bunch of underdone players can be the solution again like after round 1! Woo! We'll never be without an answer!

I also definitely think you're onto something, with shunting Watts around again and again, every time his form fails. That way he never has to face being accountable for a position, he can always just be 'played in the wrong role', you know... someone else;s fault.

Shaving beards certainly makes a difference, yep... damn facial hair ruining everything.

Board members could sit next to you and pass you a thermos of kopi luwak, you really wouldn't know it.

There's one thing worse than an armchair critic, it's an armchair critic who's got nothing to offer but thinks they have the answers and insist everyone in charge is clueless. It muddies the waters of the actual issues and solutions.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
