wouldn't be disappointed if we took Sam Lonergan, by all reports a real professional the way he goes about his footy.

Another mature player who will give his all and help set the standards worth a spot imo.

I would take Buckley back. But none really exite me. I think we would be better trying to find a kid in the draft, with that extra spot.

I had Surjan in my Supercoach this year and was lucky if he broke 10 possies more than once. DUD !!!

Why on earth did you have him in your Supercoach team in the first place??

Jason Gram will now be available also in the PSD.

Could be worth at look if Jacobs falls through. He ticks a lot of the boxes. Was a Matthew Scarlett toe poke away from being a premiership player and norm smith medalist.

Mitch Banner's got 5 votes! Who is he please? Never considered him for my super coach and I came third in my league.

I've heard that Jacobs will put down north as preferred club.

Gram or Josh toy both good kicks and will add to our list.

Weedon could be a look.

am sure Grammy's dealing with his issues. probably a blow up. I posted earlier we need some experience down back. Grammy and Nicco might be interesting.

what's the chance of Melbourne picking up Bate or Petterd?

<<<<< Z. E. R. O.

Weedon can play. He'd be first choice.

No-one rates Bower? Showed enough last year to warrant a chance at another club. He copped a hammering from Carlton fans so could just fall into the category of needing a fresh start.

They were delisted for a reason.

Not good enough, injury plagued, bad attitude.

That rings alarm bells with me.

We have had too many players over the years with these outstanding attributes.

Both Rodan and Byrnes were likely delistings this year...

Simon Buckley! Is exactly what we need, fast ,breaks lines and has developed almost elite kicking skills. Bursting to be used as a midfielder but when you compete with Swan,Pendlebury,Beams,Wellingham,Thomas etc, what chance do you have? He has had a large number of games in just about the best team in the comp, cf Rodan who couldn't get a game in a very poor one. I would grab him like a shot--still popular also with his previous team mates

Ben Warren, Sam Lonergan or Hawks rookie Tom Schneider for mine.

Wouldn't touch any of the others - especially Gram who has been dumped by the Saints for behaviour and character issues.

I hope Jeromy Webberly gets picked up by someone. Only because when Leigh Matthews says his name it makes him (Matthews) sound like Porky Pig.

And I suspect St Kilda will argue, if they haven't already, that Gram had his contract terminated for ongoing problems rather than the single event which was referred to yesterday. That's the same line they used with Andrew Lovett. Which is my way of saying I suspect Gram may come with more baggage than is publicly known.

Plus they are both EX essendon.

Kyle Reimers if we can get a psychologist to construct some kind of visualisation regime whereby he believes he is playing against the Suns every week.

yeh just hypnotize him i reckon...

Kyle Reimers has a heap of baggage. big No from me

Josh Toy just got de-listed. He would be at the top of the list, though it doesn't look all too flash, but he would be miles ahead of anyone else.

I would punt it as low cost and possible high reward.

Sam lonergan, (still can't believe he was delisted), Toy and gram should all be considered.

And yes provided gram is no longer stalkin [censored].

And just because they were delisted from their current club, doesn't mean they are rubbish players, just means that team had no need for them.

perhaps at melbnourne, some of these players could still play great roles.

As mentioned above, Byrnes + Rodan were likely delistings, and will probably be great for our club moving ahead.

I think Justin Sherman or Jacob surjan

sherman has a bit of a shady history of saying things he shouldn't. Bit of a tool if you ask me

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
