I hope the player managers get their butts kicked too.

Yep, would be great to see Blucher deregistered too. Same [censored] that strung us along with Scully

The findings of the tanking investigation wont even be noticed with all this going on!

that would be seriously funny

I doubt we'd get Tippett. Would screw with our salary cap. 3 players in our forward line taking up over $2 million. Can't see it happening.

More likely to go to GC/GWS I would have thought. But I don't think we'd turn him down on the basis that it messes with our balance. Good players are good players.

I guess he could do a Ball and whinge and moan loudly enough so that no-one takes him until Sydney's first pick, or some other club he actually wants to play for.

This story has legs.

We have plenty to spare with Rivers, Moloney, Green, Jurrah, Martin, Morton, Gysberts gone....

I'm sure we could afford Tippett. But what would it do to our remaining salary cap and our ability to retain players in the future.

Also after bringing in Pederson and Dawes would Tippett be needed or make either of those trades redundant?

So the AFL will allow him to enter into the draft and be picked up by, say, a New South Wales team?

No this gives the AFL time to decided how much pain to inflict on Crows and Tippet. He's playing nowhere next year.

Guys he Tippet will not be de registered any time soon.

His lawyers would go straight to court and the whole AFL system would come crashing down.

If guilty he will be fined heavily somewhere down the track

Knowing Neeld he would take Tippet over Wines.

Neelds care factor of our forward line is 999999999999

Neelds care factor of our midfield is 0

If this isn't tongue in cheek you have well and truly out done yourself here.

FFS

Next time your practicing hold the ball as low down as possible before dropping to your foot and laces out

Think you are spot on 'old dee'. The AFL won't risk it.

...and by the way anyone who thinks Sydney didn't know about this deal is kidding themselves.

This is what I think will happen:

Tippett will be cleared of any wrongdoing, he will enter the draft with a clause in his contract to be paid "x" amount of dollars for a NSW team, GWS will be priced out and he will end up at Sydney with pick 23.

Meanwhile, the AFL will come out and say that Sydney's bonus Salary Cap room has been removed after the investigation declares that the price of living is negligible.

This will only happen, of course, after the National Draft concludes with the newly-signed Kurt Tippett donning the Red and White.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
