He has ordinary disposal, gets masked by his occasional bomb from outside 50.

This could be one of the worst calls ever made. The guy has a laser boot and is one of the best kicks in the AFL. Was on track for a Norm Smith in 2008 before he got injured make no mistake

Trading players for picks and replacing them for free with free agents.

equals same player plus 2 extra top 20 picks......

Settle down- they replaced Dawes with Lynch and Wellingham with Young which is kind of a break even result, and they get pick 17 and 18 or whatever it is. Both picks could be busts. Maybe

Anyway I wouldn't say they kicked the trade week's arse. We are the masters of this trade period so far

We've done well but reckon the Pies have done pretty well too - sure, you won't know for sure until we know how good their picks are but they've basically replaced like for like and picked up two free first round draft picks. Pretty good going really. Free agency has some great aspects to it but already I worry that it makes the strong clubs stronger.

Wish some of ours could kick low and hard to advantage like he can

Surely some kicking traing is in order for the Melbourne Players

I have not seen many other sides kick high floaters as often as our guys

It just gives the defence so much time to defend

We definitely need a kicking coach. If not recruit some who can like Clinton can.

He went at 71.9% disposal efficiency this year. AFL average was 72.4%

Melbourne players who went at better than 72%...strauss, watts, frawley, rivers, garland, sellar, dunn, bennell, bartram, davey, jones, jetta, macdonald, moloney, mcdonald, grimes.

I do watch games tho, and I have many Hawthorn mates who would agree with me. but hey worst calls ever made? maybe you're right

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
