Welcome to the New Server

All good here. Thanks for all the hard work everyone.

Cheerio all from The Central Victorian Goldfields.......all fine here....if you call 5 days of rain fine....

I can't get on. I'm on this temporary link.

I'm at work and on the temporary link also. This is just the nature of making name server changes unfortunately. FWIW the "temporary" link is just an alias for the same site; think of it as a back road in to the same town. Everything should work exactly as it normally does and you're seeing the same data etc.

Made it on this morning on my work computer, but couldn't get on yesterday afternoon on my home computer.

Will try again tonight and see if all is good.

after only a day with nothing here miraculously this morning all well

Thought it was my end where power outages and coverage are always extremely dodgy and my steam powered equipment and redundant computer skills are often displayed.

So thanks to whoever for whatever you did

Like others my productivity is often down due to the best read in my system

Glad to see most posters are back look forward to the continuing streams of conciousness

Let's not get too excited with the thanks yet - something very not good just happened with the new server as you may have all noticed. I seem to have it working again now, will have to do a thorough investigations tonight though.

Our thanks will remain. I think we all understand that "IT stuff" can have a mind of its own.

I find this site is great for testing other websites which don't seem to be working. Tells me whether I should keep trying or go and have a coffee and come back later.

Reason for edit: fix typo

Thank goodness they can't get up and walk & shoot !!!

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
