No doubt, but you want action now and not only is it not going to happen - it isn't wise.

We will deal with any issues with the admin at the end of the year - but now is not the time. It won't help us get qualified personnel (they are employed at other clubs) and it won't help our current predicament.

not sure rpfc but the players are not playing for the club or the jumper right now.

Another 14 weeks of this...the MFC may not survive that.

To act without forethought or simply arbitrarily clearly would be unwise.

However, I can think of no other enterprise, where the "leaders" of the organisation simply sit idly by and say nothing.

As with any best laid plans, they sometimes go awry, but as with any solid business plan, there should always be contingency planning in place. I, for one, want to hear a strong and unequivocal statement that the club is united, accepts our monstrous deficiencies without question and articulates a clear plan, for the benefit of the sponsors and members, for the future. They simply cannot remain silent any longer.

No, a clear course of action needs to be spelled out in detail with time frames. If last year was not enough then the Energy Watch and sponsorship fiasco should have been.

I, as I suspect most of us, go to the MFC website to see what the club has to say about yet another debacle, every Monday. If I read one more time "Five things we learned"; to paraphrase Terry Wallace, I'll spew up. Talk about "platitudes". Clearly, in 8 weeks, nothing has been "learned". If there had been lessons learned, then the results would be at least marginally different.

RPFC, there is a business imperative here and it needs to be addressed. As I said, the club must at least be seen by its stakeholders, that it is - and I hate to use the term - being proactive in an undoubted crisis.

Sit tight and give Neeld and Missen this season and next to get those who are asked to stick around to show when fully fit what they can offer, then reconsider.

Yeah I agree we have moping, sulking players who dont give a toss. But IMO we have got into a cycle that every player that comes here will turn out like that eventually. Promising careers have been ruined at this club and will continue to do so. And as I said before I believe Neeld and Co are caught in the crossfire from last seasons unresolved issues and I'd hate to see them turn out to be the latest scapegoats. Why is it we see Neeld continue take all the public heat and try to answer the tough questions whilst McLardy, the meddling Schwab and his co-horts hide in the shadows?

Geeezzz....I swore that I would not read demonland today because I knew that I would see the same old comments....Sack the board.....Sack CS.....Sack the coach....Sack the players....Just a reminder....Port Adelaide just last year....It was in 5mil debt....would not hold any of it's players....Would fold in 2 years time....Their coach was crap....their players played with no spirit....no cohesion and were stuffed as a club....

They have turned it around to where now they have a red hot go every game they play, they might not win but they have a go.......

Administation........................Are responsible for the financial welfare of the club(we are debt free for the first time in many years)

Players and Coaches...........Are responsible for the on field performances

Recruiting Staff....................Are responsible for drafting the best young players

Who's calling for heads? We're simply asking the club to make a strong public statement to its stakeholders, as any business would do in the same dire circumstances.

As for your compartmentalising of a football club, that is just being over simplistic. No business is as any stronger than the sum of all its parts. To suggest you can isolate a segment of the club and say that is all we have to fix is being naive. Clearly, we have an endemic cultural problem at the MFC and right now we're a laughing stock and have been for sometime. The competitive market that today's football industry is will not tolerate such performances and allow such an organisation to survive.

If you're willing to accept that, then I would suggest such an attitude is reflective of the very problems which ail this club.

In saying that as a club we need to address who wants to play for the MFC and who is here just happy to be an AFL player. And move them on asap.

Pay out contracts (if possible) now and remove the crap rotting this club whoever it is.....

The Board know what the main problem is (so do i, now) after a few chats with the right people. But the club must come clean to the members because they knew this year was going to be a right off, but were still happy to accept memberships.

It will take 2 years to clean out the playing list of those who "do not wish to play".
