I spoke to him at the B & F for a while and was surprised that up close he is bigger in the arms and upper body than you would think, seeing him from a distance. Reminds me a bit of Michael Tuck and he lasted for a few games with a similiar sized body.

Mentioned this last week. it is more "the fight that is in the dog"

I think he lives near me, I have seen him run past my house a couple of times. Tall and runs smoothly like a thoroughbred. But looks more like a tennis player or track athlete than a footballer.

Cale will never be a big footballer, neither was R Flower (and no i am not comparing them!)

I am confident Neeld, Craig and Misson will turn Cale Morton into the same pick 4 that our recruiters saw.

Me too, IMO looks to me like he will always be fairly skinner.

Don't waste your time expecting him to put on 15 Kg.

He is a goer they way he is built or not at all.

All due respect to Michael Tuck and our Robbie ... but their football was of a different era. Can anyone name a single Collingwood, Geelong or Hawthorn starting 22 player with legs and arms that skinny? 2012 will be Cale's fifth season of AFL football and he still looks like a stiff breeze would blow him over.

It's disappointing but the poor bloke just doesn't appear to have the required somatotype. He looks like a middle distance runner, not a footballer.

Give Misson and Craig a full preseason with him

I doubt it will matter, I have a feeling what you see is what we are going to get with him.

Fairly thin guy who will need to play a lot better.

Not sure the tuition over the last few years has done him any favours.

A change there might help.

I agree with this. I do not think Bailey knew quite what to do with Cale, as he wasn't able to get him fit enough...(plus his injuries did come at a bad time, but that's Footy)

Someone just needs to tie this kid down to a chair and force feed him KFC or something, seeing as he is supposedly such a "fussy eater." Well toughen up sunshine, If you want to put on some size you need to eat! Enough with mummy cutting the crust off your triangle sandwiches and aeroplaning it into your mouth, eat a steak princess.

Regardless of size, he never goes for the 50/50 ball anyway. So until this changes it doesn't really matter if he stays stick figure-like or not.

anyone who thinks Cale will bulk up will be disapointed for a long time to come.

If cale is to make it, it wont be as a big bodied, pack crashing power KPP.

You're right, but at the moment he isn't big enough to play on a HFF.

Correct...I think Neeld has other ideas...Cale is quick..so with some confidence and backing i am prepared to give him a go next year.

Robert Murphy is not a big bloke, Nat Fyfe isnt either, Cam Bruce isnt

If Cale wants to take the next step he can. His size isnt an excuse IMO

I think the skinny kid needs a foster home. Someone who will feed him lots of carbs. 24/7

Do you know any family that can accomodate.

Trying to compare Michael Tuck and Robert Flower with Cale Morton is like trying to describe the similarities of a length of barbed wire and rubber hose with a broom stick.

I just finished watching Inspector Gadget with my 2 year old .

Even he has bigger biceps than our Cale .

Why would you want to feed him carbs to put on size

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
