Neil Craig

Mark Neeld could trump Neil Craig, but I totally agree that getting Neil Craig was a simply massive coup for this club.

I recall Paul Roos saying On The Couch earlier this year - shortly after Craig resigned from the Crows in fact - that all of the coaches in the competition rated Craig as an absolutely elite coach who enjoyed the respect of everyone without reservation. Roos said, in his time coaching the Swans, the Crows were amongst the most consistently professional, well drilled teams in the comp - and this simply reflected how professional Craig was/is.

IMO Neeld + Craig + Misson will prove to be an amazing trifecta for the MFC.

I hope you are correct as we have invested heavily in the player list through drafts, now we have invested in their development.I feel the real smokie in the coaches panel will be Brown.

I just want to see all our coaches work real well together. So they can all be great.

I'm surprised that I haven't read more about the issue of NC Sherking the question about him not defining his role. Does anyone know what he is doing definitively? Or is his role a work in progress? I cant think of the club or anyone explaining it to the point I can understand it!

It's relatively clear to me, and just as clearly defined as any other role at the football club.

Maybe the problem is with your comprehension?

Maybe you could try and definitively explain it to me, rather than get personal

Don't let the slagging get to you.

I was a newbie not so long ago, just remember who slagged you and get back at him/her.

Also don't bother replying to some yobbo who wont even divilge what his/her gender or other information.

To me he/she is a loser especially if they have the time to sit at a computer and average 5 posts per day.

A newbie who seems to be consistently negative and critical re Neeld, Craig etc.etc. Not surprised that he's getting a chilly reception.

Not sure I'm negative to either Neeld or Craig. I'm just unsure about Neil's role and Mark's media performance. I like both guys and see the benefits both guys have brought to the club. I apologize if it seems negative. But I have not made any blanket statements on either one of them.

That's the problem with written material, it gets lost in translation

This is a an ironic post...

And that second line is healthy.

I don't think many of us know how Neil is going to operate.

I think it is at the point where the footy media says he is the 'footy chief' but what would that make Josh Mahoney...

I am certain that they have some idea of where the fit but I am pretty sure Neeld will stamp his authority on the FD as the buck stops at his desk.

But, yeah, messy.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
