Just heard on the news that we could be playing at Adelaide Oval in the final round of this season.

It could be woth heading over for I reckon - a winnable game and, depending how the cards fall, may even decide if we make the finals.

It should make a nice change from moron park where we haven't had a lot of luck lately anyway.

Wouldn't matter which ground it's played on over there... still have to deal with a stadium full of Deliverance rejects.

It'll be that bogan Brogan's last game. I hope that doesn't lift them. We may need to win that game to get a home final!

Anywhere would be better than AAMI stadium.

Lol we may need to win there to get into the finals period!

Can just hear the sound now of the banjos being plucked, warming up for the big event.....

Apparently 5AA ran it first.

Love the Adelaide Oval! Such a great place to watch cricket and would be good to be sitting on the hill behind the goals watching the Jurrah-machine flying for grabs (if he is allowed to of course ;) )

So true was a great cricket ground. Not so sure after the developments. But would be great for footy i think, being able to stand on the hill and have a few beers!

Would be keen on going over, can't stand that aami park. Horrible excuse for a ground.

could you imagine it, a church bell in the last qtr sounds, its mistaken for the umps whistle, all players stop except, Ricky Bobby, running into an open goal, Cathedral End, and he goes bang, MFC wins by 20 goals and sneak into the Top 4

I wouldn't mind it if our game was played at Adelaide oval.

We're yet to lose there.

First visited the Adelaide Oval this year to watch Melb Victory v Inbred United. Fantastic Ground would love to go back and watch some cricket there and as it is so close to the city a short walk to the ground just over the "river"

Would this be Port's one and only game there this year??

I would just be a little concerned Port would Pump themselves up for a big one, considering the season for them is going nowhere.

Let them pump, they're that useless that the game is ours to lose.

yes, that's what worries me...our travel record must be the worst in the AFL at the minute!!

There goes one of our last remaining chances to win at Football Park.

Still, the less people have to go to that Soviet constructed concrete slophole the better.

Posted

I cant mentally figure out whether this increases or decreases our chances of winning

Hopefully it's on the Saturday.

Might be a twilight on Saturday. Will keen on heading over there now. Watch the foxtel cup game on T.V and it lookok then. Long distance between the goals and fence looked different. But can imagine sitting on the wing would look fantastic!

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
