Cited in his past 3 games!

Does it continue to be fines for ump conduct, or can it turn to a suspension (presuming the same classification and not reckless or intentional, of course!)

I don't know exactly how the progression works but the second offence is what Trengove got.

If he keeps going like this, then we will definitely lose him next season to GWS as he will need to double his salary to pay his tribunal fines!

Getting a bit concerned that "TrenGOVE" seems to be spreading like a plague. I'm not the pedantic type, but where it's a person's name, it's important to get it right.

Wouldn't happen to be the same umpire he keeps running into?

This is becoming ridiculous! I have done my fair share of umpiring and I have been involved in some sort of body contact with a player on a few occasions. Half the time it was MY FAULT! When are the AFL umps going to take some responsibility for player contact? Gee, at some stages there are 34 players and 2 umpires all in one half of the ground. Makes for a very congested scenario indeed. Come on AFL Trengove doesn't go out there to try and clean up an ump! Share some of the blame umpires.

Oh my goodness Bobby, that would be way to logical.....

Far easier and more profitable to simply blame and fine the players as one big guilty group.

Honestly the kid is going to have start taking charity meals from his team mates if this keeps up  !!!

By depriving JT of income through suspensions and fines they are encouraging him to focus more on the all important dollar so when he comes out of contract next year he'll consider signing up with the AFL's love child GWS.

Very logical actually......

When it is Chris Judd it is the umpires fault

When it is Chris Judd touching an umpire it's normally consensual. (stolen form Richard Hinds)

Rules are rules, and he knows where the umpires are going to run after they bounce the ball.

Sorry, I know logic and reality is often not welcome in here!

JT needs to be very careful over the remainder of the season. He can't afford to give those pricks anything to slaughter him for otherwise they wont hesitate making an example of him. They did it to Beamer a few years back, and I think it cost him a couple of seasons to fully get his confidence back.

Poor kid - when the MRP start applying the rules consistently and fairly he might feel that maybe he did the wrong thing, until then, he is justified to feel a bit paranoid.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
