Once again the AFL/ CHannel 10 have started/ finished/ shoved in the middle so god damn awful crap.

That cover of Long Way To The Top is THE WORST!!!!!!!! cover ever!!!

Once again, no idea of taste.

If I was AC/DC I'd speak to the cops about charging them with cold blooded murder!

(start of the Brownlow if you did not see it)

Pretty ordinary and at times outright cringeworthy.

The AC/DC cover?? I am still questioning how it was even remotely relevant - and who were those fraudsters anyway?

The early introduction of Swan and Ablett was just plain embarrassing - the cameras caught Luke Hodge clearly pissing himself at the sheer awkwardness of it all.

The segment on Jimmy is the only redeeming feature so far I reckon.

And as for that total prat Demetriou and his excruciating "pauses for dramatic effect" - what a [censored]!! Got a touch of the 'Rob Oakeshot's' about him for sure - thinks he is the star of the show and just loving every moment of it.

I'm out.

Judd forgot one of the brown paper bags backstage just before though, had to duck off, environmental emergency and all.

FWIW cannot stand 'the filth' but I think Swan was seriously short changed and Judd... Was he really BOG so often?

Just goes to show how much of a one man team Carlton are. When they win he is normally BOG. 30 votes next from Carlton was 9.

Swan, Ablett, Hayes were all unlucky(lucky) that they are in teams with far greater spread of talent, Pendlebury & Didak, Selwood, Montagna and Goddard all shared the votes from their teams.

Congrats to Judd great player. Doubt he'll win another flag though. Think the Dees will move past them next year they are treading water IMO.

(beat me to it Chook)

It actually says a lot about where Carlton are at that Judd gets so many BOG's. There's no Pendlebury to take votes off him, for one. Judd's second Brownlow came because his teammates are so bad that he's the only one that stands out.

Well said. I fully expect to beat the MFC to beat Carlton next year. They may have beaten us in 2007, but we will have the much better list in years to come.

Judd had a great season missing the first few games of the season and a worthy winner in my opinion

One of the first players i would pick in my team although i don't rate him captain material at all

Seen many RED HOT favorite's fail to win the medal so its nothing new Swan didn't win it

The Tigers are still upset Bartlett didn't win it and that was decades ago

Think some of you just have a problem with Judd because he didn't choose to become a Demon

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
