Definitely looks similar the way he covers ground.

Will be better at releasing teammates, not that Judd is necessarily bad in this area.

Scully throughout his career will make blokes look good, they'll move on for greener pastures and be exposed.

He's that type of player.

Just wondering if anyone else sees the similarities between young Tom and a certain money hungry Carlton skipper?

Not saying he'll end up as good but the way he moves is almost identical to Judd in his early years IMO...

IMO,,, Paul Kelly.

Couldn't find much vision, maybe someone else has some of Paul Kelly. A true inspirational player. IMO, more guts than chris dudd.

Was any one else extremely confident as he ran in and kicked that goal. Reminded me of one of his highlights on youtube. Outstanding!

Same as Jordie McKenzies goal...it was always going to go straight.

Scully has 3 main elite strengths. He has the potential to be the best in the afl in these 3 areas. These are the reasons he could be a superstar.

1. his endurance/ ability to get from contest to contest. Won the beep test at MFC in his first season. The best ever recorded at an underage level. something like 15.11.

2. Creative use of the handball- Simon Blackesk. Sets up our players brilliantly to advantage

3. His constant running speed throughout the game. The guy's speed for standard running from contest to contest is rediculously good. Other players jog, but he's just always skating over the ground. I really rate that.

    Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval.     With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals.
