This isn't a life or death post... But next week I'll be ordering my new Melbourne home jumper. There is no doubt to who's number I want on the back... (16) But was just interested in seeing what other numbers people have purchased??? Has anyone put a 9 or a 24 or a 31 on their back??

i said it in another thread but got the 35 on my brand spanking new jumper. Big strong tappy. he has the agro in him that i love. shattered i won't get to see it on the 'G' for that much longer

I've got last year's with a number 16 on it.

This year I'm going with number 10, 12, 39 or 19.

Still to decide.

(actually, I want 39 for Nev Jetta, but I'm worried his number is pretty high and it may change in the near future.)

Maybe it'd be good to have Col's number on my back in his brownlow-winning season..?

If i were too buy a new Jumper it would be very hard to toss up between 12, 31, 9 and 35

I had No.2 from when I was a kid (still got the original) - Flower, Tingay, Armstrong, Jones.

Will be getting my son new one (1yo), still deciding. Leaning towards No.9 now. He can have my old ones too. The first looks a bit old and cruddy with the Drake logo though.

Come to think of it, there's not alot of love for Tapscott (No.35)...I might just elect for Tappy.

Got my new #4 jumper late last year (got the white clash guernsey too, think they're fantastic)

Also have my old #13 from when Yze played

Just got my new Red & Blue clash jumper a couple of weeks ago.

The big number 4 is on the back, and has been signed by the great man as well.

All I need now is for him to fire up on the footy field come round 1

No. 16 of course, the only way to go... although I did temporarily want a 9 after what I saw last Saturday...

I am quite annoyed that they changed the colours... got it halfway through last year and now it's going to look decidedly purple and bright red... ah well. Would've preferred the new colour scheme, I'm a fan of it.

I’m ready to grace my back with a number. I’m tossing up between a few though;

1- Sounds a bit like Warlock, A big tall future horror for forwards everywhere

2- looks a little like Ablett, can't be a bad thing

4- Will one day (I hope soon) be the number to be seen in. It’s a fashion thing, doing it before everyone else.

6- 2010 will be the year that Bate marshals the forward line... and he has red hair.

7- I play a lot like this man in team sports, full of promise but my no means a star. I'm playing Forum footy and it has been foreseen (perhaps by a certain 'Warlock') that perhaps I'll look rather awkward :P

8- Because Frawley is clearly a Sherman battle tank

9- Getting on the bandwagon after one game, but who wouldn't.

I will only choose out of the single digit numbers as I'm trying to be thrifty...and I couldn't think up anymore unamusing tags. Will someone please help me decide?

personally i don't have a number on my jumper, but i have 3 kids and been thinking about putting the number 6 on there backs.

Currently it's a 34 for the Stefan Martin Experience, but I pine for the #28 of Philthy Phil

I've got an Yze and a Robbo - 13 and 24, both signed. I gave the 13 to my old man for his birthday.

Wearing the #24 now leaves me with a somewhat empty feeling.

Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
