Jim Stynes on Twitter

They made mention of this on the footy show....

Garry Lyon said that Jim has been unable to respond to the thousands of well wishes he has had lately and this was the best way he could let everyone know how he is feeling on his recovery...

Long live Big Jim!!!

Hutchy showed what a top shelf journalist he is when one of his big scoops for the week was reading out Jim's updates on Twitter.

Take a bow Hutchy, we're not worthy...

Jim escorted K Rudd to Kinglake Grand Final. David Schwarze addressed the players before the game. MFC cheersquad made the banner for Kinglake. Jim's No 37 jumper featured on the banner. Kinglake lost by 2 goals but won in community support.

Did a great job of it too. Unfortunately for a Kinglake player he fell face first through it on every news broadcast in the state.

hahahah that's why I always have run around the things, no chance for stuff ups!

Didn't help that a huge gust of wind ripped it to shreds and snapped the pole in half!

Terrible weather to play in and a pain in the ass to get out of the ground at the end of the day.

Big crowd as a show of support for Kinglake which was great to see

Yep Schwaby has been fantastic on twitter and giving us a great insight on things.

This morning he twitted-

Time to get serious about the MFC Brand. Polishing our icons. Stay Tuned?

Anyone know what this means?

He might be reffering to "Bringing back The Demon" ?

I think he'd be referring to polishing the public image of icons of the club... which could be construed as guys like Robbie Flower, Barassi, Lyon for just a start..

There is a lot of rich history there that is not highly publicised or celebrated enough, or as much as it could be, to strengthen our brand.

This is my take

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
