hello everyone,

who do you think will win the final?

i think either saints or collingwood, they are both pretty strong at the moment,

geelong to be in the final but not to win it. ;)

Don't Care, i am planning to be overseas.

Whoever wins it, for me it will be painful as once again it wasn't Melbourne.

Unlike most people i do not have a 2nd Favourite team.

I hate all 15 of our oponents (some a little more than others) but still HATE none the less.

Depends - out of Geelong / Collingwood / St Kilda.

The winner will be the one that doesn't play one of the other 3 the week before the Grand Final.

Whoever does, even though they won, will be too bruised, battered and exhausted.

Grand Final day is about as close as I come to having a religious day on my calender.

My hope is that Collingwood make the GF and lose.

Whether it's StKilda or Geelong or whoever else, I'm am not fussed.

As a supporter of a club enduring a significant premiership drought, I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints win one.

with Brad Scott now gone and being a big part of collingwoods coaching . l think we just might see the down fall of the pies.

With Scott now gone and Malthouse,s Mum Very Very sick in hospital. he is spending most of his time in ballarat. l wounder if his mind will stay on the job ?

yes they smashed the tigers but lets look at it we almost won when really DB did all to make sure we did not

Go Sainters....my No 1 team.

Melbourne has zoomed up the list and is now very firmly my 2nd team because of the Casey connection.

I was riding home the Jordan McMahon kick for a goal as much as any Demon supporter I can tell you.

And in Round 22 we seek a very common outcome.....Go Saints.

This is why we should have our own reserve side. I am not pleased that St.kilda supporters are close by.

Demons & Saints are diametrically opposed.

Fix it Vlad.!!!!!

More or less agree. I think Geelong are still a force, but they are struggling to keep their best team on the ground. Also, look for Adelaide to do some damage in the finals before bombing out in the Prelim. Niel Craig is a spectacular coach and he's got the players to work with.

There would be nothing better than a Saints V Doggies GF

I hope both Carlton and/or Collingwood go out in straight sets

My ideal scenario too.

Except that the last sentence should read: "Both Carlton and Collingwood to go out in straight sets"

Would love the Dogs/Saints final... With a Dogs win, but I think EVERYONE is wanting that.

After that, I'd say I hope the Cats will get it, and expect they will. Strong position, they've had their obligatory form did, and will come good at just the right time.

That, and they deserve it. They're just that good.

I don't want Collingwood to win it. Nor do I want Carlton or Essendon to win it. Can't stand all of them.

I don't want the Bulldogs or Saints to win it. (Their last premierships being '54 and '66). I want our Demons to win it before they win their next.

I'd rather Geelong win it. Fwiw, they deserve it just as much as StKilda do. They've both been the standouts this year (StK 19-1; Geel 17-3).

If MFC hadn’t:

• aligned with the Casey Scorpions

• established a campus at Casey as part of a push to shore up a geographic support base in the area

then you wouldn’t have me interested in MFC.

I would have thought my interest as a Casey resident, and also now as an MFC member because of it (albeit as my 2nd team) would be exactly what MFC was hoping to achieve in the first year of a long term foray into the Casey area.

Collingwood are mega-fresh, which will be an important factor in the finals. Saints and Cats are better teams IMO but play a harder brand of footy (not loose man all the time) and have had a few injuries of late. Touch and go for mine.

We appreciate your support Casey Scorp, albeit your 2nd team. We also appreciate your updates. I'm sure WYL feels the same, with an open mind.

I still think that Geelong playing at close to full strength are the best team.

Saints play 'Etihad' very well and probably have some advantage when they play there. So playing at the MCG will negate the 'home ground' advantage they had over the cats last time.

Also, Geelong were asleep in the 1st quarter of that game, but won the other 3 quarters i believe on the scoreboard. They were missing a few players and St. Kilda were at full strength. Its just a matter of whether they can get the likes of Scarlett, Chapman, S. Johnson, Rooke, G. Ablett, and Harley all fit at the same time. Ottens would be handy too, but its questionable that he'll be able to have a significant impact if he can actually play.

Geelong to DEF St. Kilda for mine in a tight contest...

(Collingwood the darkhorse. As much as it sickens me to say...They seem to play very well against Geelong, and they could find themselves in the GF if they can knock the Cats off in Week1..)

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
