I Know it`s getting really frustrating, JUST UPDATE IT, and the membership numbers havent been updated lately after constant daily updates.

I know. Our membership number has been 28,373 for quite some time. Also things like training times they don't update often enough.

Hang on, they have updated the training times. It says we have training at Junction oval on Saturday.

Cant wait for Strauss!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not good that Grimes started off with only probably being out for 3 weeks now listed to round 5. Really is a bit of a worry

To be honest Mousey, I think it may be a reoccurring injury that we are all going to have to deal with. Not quite sure if it will ever truly go away.

My mate (also quite a good footballer) had the same injury, and it seems to rear its head every year. He misses games each year, sometimes for long periods of times.

Hopefully they can get it right, and it wont be a problem.

Hopefully they take it easy with Aussie, Grimes, Strauss and Buckley. So they're all ready and fit for the Queens Birthday clash. Smash those filth.

There's no mention of Brent Moloney who sat out the last half of the Port Adelaide game with a "corked thigh".

Based on past experience the official injury list has little credibility and I'm predicting here and now that Beamer will be a late omission from Sunday's team v Richmond due to an unknown ailment.

By my estimation, in a weekor 2 we will be left with only 3 players on the injury list. The down side is that one of thoseplayers is Garland but at least the squad is starting to develop a little bit of depth. Add in the sight of Watts and maybe Blease playing for Casey and things are looking a little more positive.

I know for a fact that mfc do not spend as much on medical resources ,physios,MRI scans etc as other clubs, not the only reason we have the longest injury list in the afl over the past few years but it is a big factor

What a lot of twaddle that is, and you based it on which facts..they picked Garland's stress fracture up because he reported a bit of soreness, the doctor must have just looked at it and said 'oh it is a stress fracture', they sent him for a scan.

Injuries happen, it is a tough game to play, agree we have been cursed slightly with a bad run, but it happens to every club, you can have a good run as well............

If we can get no injuries from our current team list and, Grimes,Bell,Buckley,Mcdonald and Wonaeamirri pull up well and starting play footy for Casey or MFC. We will only have a injury list of 3 men.

Plenty of good signs there. We will have a full strength team.

And I can't wait for Jamar to come back.

How sad is it that you can't wait for Jamar to come back. 2 years ago most (including me) wanted him delisted! Agree he is our best tap ruckman against the AFL giants but realistically he's not our future. You can't carry a ruckman in today's footy that takes two marks a game and has 8 possessions. Probably best summarises our current plight!

What a lot of twaddle that is

Given our financial situation I wouldn't be surprised if we spend less than most in almost every area.

If you look on the MFC website and have a look at the size of the backroom staff, you will see it is on par with other clubs, the financial situation has improved ten fold in the last couple of months.......injuries happen........what you will see is the backroom staff always operating on the side of caution,.......nobody will be rushed back until they are 100%........you can even see that now....you have young 18-19yr old Healey, Hughes and McNamara but they get half a game just to ease them back in..........that is why the list is long at the moment....we want them back for a while not lost for months on end........as you can see it takes it toll Richmond managed to break Cotchin in only one season, and Cooney is falling to bits in front of everybody.............

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
