I think its important to incorporate the DEMON. The MFC remids me too much of The Team Melbourne/ MelbourneFC crap. (althought I do like the designs).

Keep in mind...first came MFC...then everything else !!!

We are the Demons.. but I can live without comical incarnations of it...I dont folk to laugh at us.. I want them to be worried !!

Either its done well.. or leave it off a jumper

I voted for my own but I do like caddy's, which I think the AFL would be more likely to accept.

i do like demon4lifes design however i have voted on what the club has put forward and gone for the demon logo

I reckon the new demon looks like Cameron Bruce. Must be the widow's peak!

Must be the widow's peak Gouga.

Good work Dees Dayz.

I prefer Clint's/Demon4Life's but if the AFL won't accept that, caddys would surely meet the criteria. Caddy's.

Demon4Life/Clint's is my choice.

Option A & B are just dull and only marginally better than the silver monstrousity.

C & D are better reworkings IMO although the new demon logo is looking less ridiculous by the day in my eyes.

But D4L/CB's actually looks like a football jumper that is representative of Melbourne Football Club - I'd actually buy that one it's red & blue not a bastardized version of our history with a neutral colour thrown in. For those who have voted the other options would you actually buy any of them? Could you really be bothered trying to explain who the jumper represented? It doesn't look anything like Melbourne.

I'm tired of our boards giving us the choice between a turd sandwich and a giant [censored] when it comes to these issues. It's no choice at all.

Stuff the AFL, it's our club, our game, our jumper it's either red and blue or it's for the EDFL.

Any Melbourne jumper that has white in it is just BLOODY WRONG! i will nnot stand forit,we are not the bulldogs!!

Get a cold flanel and lie down WYL. Settle. We get your point.

I think tis is a salient comment.. Id buy it too. Id be proud to wear that guernsey to a match etc.. to wear the colours. it looks the part...not a 'this weeks' attempt abiding the AFL.. Its looks like a real footy jumper...well it is !! lol

Amongst a sea of spectators ...hundreds..indeed thousands of those would stand out !!

I transferred D4L/CBs design into the guernsey used for the others.

Slight aspect/pebkac problems but does the job:

Thats better actually ( all plaudits to those along the way too.. lol ) the somewhat larger emblem sits well lifted onto chest.

even the blue piping looks good :)

looks good :)

Love the new avatar BB59 :)

Would really, really, really like the club to prepare actual jumpers and stick people in them in future design polling. Several people (tall, short, beefy, stick figure). Preferably with long sleeve versions as well. Seeing Brock in that long sleeved silver almost discombobulated me to death.

thought the 'new' jumper needed fleshing out a little ;)

I tend to agree it would make a lot of sense to actually see some designs on bodies

this is my reply to the email I sent today....

We appreciate your feedback regarding MELBOURNEfc's uniform. MELBOURNEfc experimented with some colours to create a uniform appearance in the early years of its existence. A distinctive white outfit was used, which led to one of the Club's earliest nicknames - 'Invincible Whites'. This made way for red and blue in the 1870s, but still has an important place in the Melbourne Football Club's earliest history and cultural background.

Clash jumpers are in place to ensure that there is clear differentiation between the teams to benefit the players, the spectators, the officials, and the broadcast and media partners amongst others. A ‘main’ playing uniform and an ‘alternate’ playing uniform are mandatory for all Clubs as stipulated by the AFL.

The other criteria enforced by the AFL surround the length of time a jumper must be used and it's colouring. Dark playing strips need a light coloured alternative, as in the case of our silver jumpers and an "alternate" jumper must also be used for a minimum of two years. Unfortunately, the AFL will not allow Red to be the predominant colour. The AFL have determined that the MELBOURNEfc home strip clashes with Brisbane, St Kilda, Essendon, Fremantle and Carlton. This clash occurs mainly due to the dark back of our jumper and those of the clubs listed.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
