I dont think he will play there. Unless Sandy want to lose the game.

could be a part of his development... make him be accountable, given his athleticism he could play down back... i think it could be what John needs, some time in another position, where he can learn how to get his hands on the footy...

You could be right. Only time will tell.

Jack Grimes must have been named in the Reserves again. Lets hope he plays 80% this week and can hit his straps before the season comes to a close. Big future this kid though

Great to see Dutchy back!

Lets hope he puts in a good performance so we can get him back up in the seniors in no time. Could well finish the season with 15 goals to his name.

Petterd needs to perform this week whilst he has been injured he should really be playing seniors. Frawley will abosolutely smash Little or Tiller.

Bazza, are you surprised to see Tmac dropped? From what I've been reading his form in the 1's has been good.

Not when you consider the players who have been broght back into the side this week Vanlo. Someone has to make way for the likes of MFC listed players, Jeff White, Aaron Davey, Ben Holland and Jace Bode and Sandy's Nick Sautner and David Gallagher who are all inclusions from last week's team. It won't hurt younger players McNamara and Specencer to go back to the reserves because, as you can read from Andy Lovell's game summaries on melbournefc.com, the club does have certain guidelines regarding how they develop players and that process continues even if they are playing in the Sandy reserves.

Incidentally, it will be well worth it for supporters to turn up to TBO to watch the game today to see players like Jeff, The Flash and Benny in action on a suburban footy ground.

Ricky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a very enjoyable day at TBO, although some felt the cold - I found it quite mild :) .

You should've popped down and watched the boys play Super_P. You would've liked what you'd seen with Ricky and Addam.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
