You will notice I did not include any past players or coaches. I am sure Caro goes for Rich - not Melbourne.

Dennis Commett has been quoted that he does not follow any clubs, but has a soft spot for Melbourne.

As a child in WA he followed Melbourne and his favourite player was Big Bob Johnson...He has mentioned this quite a few times in broadcasts

On 3AW after the Melbourne v WB game this year, Dennis Cometti said those were the two clubs he has bought memberships for. I'm not sure whether he barracks for either though...

Caroline Wilson is a Richmond supporter - her father was president of the club for more than a decade.

Dennis Cometti played reserves for Footscray, so if he has a leaning it is to the Dogs, very big West Perth supporter here in the WAFL.

From ABC Perth Glenn Mitchell is Carlton supporter

Graham Smokey Dawson is Hawthorn

Gerard Whatley Geelong

Dan Longergan Western Bulldogs

The Late Wally Foreman was West Coast, his last AFL broadcast was the 06 Eagles win

Rob Waters ?

Quentin Hull, you'd suspect Brisbane

Peter Donegan ?

There's a few. Cheers

I've read that Cometti has a leaning to melbourne but not sure why that's so. could only think that because he barracked for west perth -- when they had the brilliant name the cardinals, since changed to falcons (yawn) -- he was attracted to our colours. of course, there's a reason for him liking the dogs, having played reserves for them. but he's always admitted a soft spot for robbo & I detected some real angst in the first half against freo -- he was kind of willing us on, although that could have been as much for the sad state of the team in that first half. thank god someone among the commentators has some passion for us!

Peter is a Collingwood supporter.

I know it's got little to do with the topic, but I like Peter Donegan as a commentator. I reckon he's got a voice that is pleasant on the ears, unlike the screeching cats like McAvaney and Hudson.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
