Hahah the 2 people who wanted Scully dropped must be taking the [censored]. 39 touches?

Twice tonight we were robbed of goals. Twice tonight we were penalised for out on the full when it was in. It put's the collingwood loss in perspective. Compared to tonight against the pies we lost fair in fair. Tonight we were actually robbed by the umpires. Dean Bailey has every right to speak up against the umpiring. I'm quite happy to chip in for the fine.

You would think their would be an afl standard for playing surface length and dimensions.

Those wanting to drop Bartram??? Come on. He did an outstanding job on boomer harvey, and has done many great shut down roles this year. Get a grip.
-
Horses for courses this week. Their 3 Ruckman/forward combo tear us up all the time.
-
Real shame how he's travelling. He's one of my favourites but questions are being raised rightly so about him at the moment.
-
Look im not a fan of Bruce at all but im willing to say he was one of our better ones today. He's not perfect but he did all he could to drive some movement in the back half. Some players on our list waiting in the wings will potentially be better than he is in the long run, but to suggest someone like Gysberts, Strauss will come in and do a better job next week is a bit far off the mark.

Looked like his shoulder was gonna go for weeks now. Obviously some pre-existing problems there. Real shame. He's a great dynamic forward.

Why does the North Melbourne football club own us?
Pipefitter replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
They are definitely our Bogey side. But credit to them, they didnt take us lightly. Did their homework tactically. -
Have heard glowing reports from guys who played under 18s of this guy. Looks the goods.

Brad Scott's analysis of the demons is WRONG
Pipefitter replied to sylvinator's topic in Melbourne Demons
Brad Scott has really come across as a big sook so far in his short career. -
Got a whole bunch of dees supporters coming along. Let's hope we get a better crowd than last year at dome.
-
Yeah noticed this on TV. Wonder what that was all about?

He really needed some continuity in his game to get to this level and playing a full year last year helped. Hopefully the same happens for Rivers. Noticed the same about Jones. His best footy earlier was outside as he is an endurance runner.

There's no reason we can't beat them if we play like we have. For some reason they have just had the wood on us lately.

Watched the game on tape today. Bruce had a shocking first half and but got better as the game went on. Dont believe the stats. Yep he's stats were effective, but it doesnt give you a true indication of how good they were. Was missing players by hand often but the player would manage to run onto it which in turn makes the possession statistically effective. He puts his team mates under pressure alot. He just simply doesn't chose the right option. Like i said he got better as the game went on but i really dont rate him.

Always a risk going to the G carpark unless you are there mega early. If you get turned away from the gate you kiss the 1st quarter goodbye. Its confusing as they just pick and choose the days they decide to close side streets etc.
-
Wierd, he's been great.

Without sounding like a bruce basher, would love to see him dropped and rivers in. Bruce was terrible today, a relic of our depressing past. Rivers back to let JoMac run loose and give his old team a bath.
-
Junior is rejuvanated this year. Similar to what crawford at the hawks went through when they had some great kids coming through. It lifts the the older players spirits. Jmac you were sensational today.
-
He was unbelievable today and has been in AA form this year. Its a bit of a reminder not to jump on ruckmen's back too fast. With the exception of athletic types such as Jeff white, Kruezer etc, most don't hit their straps till the age of 25-26. Before we start jumping on Spencer and inevitably Gawns back about early career form, think about how long it takes the typical crash and bash ruckman to reach their peak. What was great was his hit outs to advantage. Himself and Mcdonald were sublime today.

6: Mcdonald 5: Sylvia 4: Jamar 3: Macdonald 2: Green 1: Scully

I've been a big fan since day dot with this kid and have never at any stage wanted him dropped. He didnt go in hard last week, and its not the first time either. What we all gotta realise is not every player is Jonathan Brown. Bennell is young, light framed outside player. He crapped himself when he saw the big defender coming to crunch him as anyone would. What he needs to be taught is how to position his body in those marking contests so he isn't just going to get his yeah knocked off his shoulders.
-
Its amazing to think he hasn't even played 20 games yet. His poise and courage defies his age. After Brad green's stint as captain Its all yours Jack.

I think most people forget how tall Morton is. Once he fills out i see him and Watts both playing as athletic talls in our forward line and will pose nightmares to defenders for the next 10 years. Jurrah with a supporting cast of crumbers such as Bennell, Wona (fingers crossed), Marric and flankers in Sylvia and Bate. That there is the future.
