Totally agree. We really are still a while off where we want to be. I think we will see a similar amount of wins as last year which some supporters will label a failure. I think alot of people underestimate how much of a loss McDonald and Bruce are.

I gotta admit, watching Hurley last night makes you question watts. Hurley seems such a natural footy player. But I'm def not jumping off watts at this stage. Watts has a few more tricks up his sleeve. I'd love to see watts attack the ball like Hurley though. Eyes only for the ball.

We were right back in it by 3/4 time but what's the point going gangbusters and doing hammys trying to reel back in the lead in a preseason match. We saw 2 very different agendas from the clubs tonight. The bombers are trying to win back the respect of their supporters and justifying the appointment of the messiah hird. The dees have their eyes firmly on round 1 and are using the preseason as it should. Trying new players, getting a bit of miles in the legs etc. Good teams don't reveal their full hand of cards in the nab cup. And we are clearly Becoming one of those teams. If we serve up garbage like that in round one, you're I Your rights to complain. But now, Just relax. It's a scratch match. Would you rather be a [censored] bombers supporter giving hirdy a standing applause like they just won a premiership. Please! My only gripe; warnock is not close to afl standard, hurry back frawley!

Until proven otherwise we can't win at this ground. Don't really mind getting bundled out first round. I love the opportunity to see the dees play practice matches at suburban venues.

If fit will be a much better back up than PJ ever was. In answer to whether or not he can play a key position, No. Has been tried up forward for not much luck, and was shocking when used at CHB when the Hawks lost pretty much all of their defence to injury.

Terrible, Terrible news. The joy on Aussies dads face as his son ran down the field with the ball in his hands against the dockers as the siren was about to go will be a timeless Melbourne image.

Its good he is gone. He just doesn't have the disposal skills to execute our game plan. I'm not going to miss his helicopter kicks and hospital handpasses. The only bad thing is that he leaves us without compensation. Its pretty bad. I'm sure he was 1 of the highest paid players at our club for a long time. To leave looking for money at the age of 31, well that just stinks.

Laycock is one of the worst footy players I've ever seen. He makes a mistake nearly everytime he is near the ball.

He was trying to showboat and boot it into the 3rd tier. When your captain is doing that, you have no chance.

They have an amazing list of kids. Whats going to be really sad is by the time melbourne is heading to a grand final they will probably be unstoppable. If we lose to them in a grand final ill pretty much stop watching AFL. The AFL have bought this club a premiership and it will only take a few years.

No surprises Swallow polled high. That kid is going to be a gun. Paul Johnson won this award a few years back.

I think its not just Watts. Our plays dont look forward enough. Our forwards we're finding great space at times against the kangaroos while we where trying to link from half back all the way from the defensive arc to our F50. If anything we start rushing with the ball when we are at half forward but by then its too late.
