  1. I agree. If we start well we win.
  2. How longs he been out for? Wouldn't have thought he would need a run in the 2's.
  3. Listening on the net from Barcelona. Sounding good! If we win ill be painting the town sangria!
  4. Ah the good ol move Paul Johnson to fullforward. It's been done, and he has done nothing.
  5. 6 - Bruce 5 - Gysberts 4 - Mcdonald 3 - Green 2 - Jamar 1 - Morton
  6. Yeah was a real shocker for him today. Watched on TV and did not see him at all in the 2nd half. Was he mostly benched? He needs to get a bit more of a run through the midfield just to get some touch. He hasn't got the body to be a sit at home forward.
  7. He could be accused for trying too hard on days like these. He wears his heart on his sleeve, im sure he would have loved a win against his old club. It was more than 4 points for him.
  8. Doesn't sound too serious. This year is a big just getting confidence back in his body year. I really havent been overly impressed by him this year but def not about to jump off his bandwagon.
  9. Was a shame the margin got out to what it was. But in the big scheme Geelong at this point in time are a 8-9 goal better side than us. I think the players had a crack. I noticed we were frustrating Geelong at times with our pressure and turnovers (Great tackling) but we just couldnt hurt them on the scoreboard.
  10. There were 3 players let go to other teams in the last few years. Brocky, Johnson & Buckley. All widely debated, but all seem like a great move now. Johnson & Buckley are struggling to get a game, and well poor ol brocky, he just cant take a trick. The football department look to have a real good grasp on who is part of the future and can contribute, and who will never make it.
  11. Another good step for Watts on the weekend. Looks like hes starting to believe he belongs, becoming really dare I say the c word, "Competitive". Great in close, some important clearances. Hopefully Miller and Bate can learn off Watts to be good below the knees.
  12. Wouldn't be surprised if wonna got the call up for this round. Its an important round for them and he certainly has enough credits in the bank for an early call up. Would love Jetta in too. We looked slugglish last week. These 2 players would help.
  13. Very impressed with Jack Watts yesterday. Everything he did yesterday was with class. Few good contested marks. Reads the ball well off the ground. Quick hands. We've got a beauty on our hands.
  14. Must have been sitting near me as it was all i heard too. I reckon they just should have kept handballing it. Whenever they actually kicked it was to a 3 on 1, or rolled over the boundary etc.
  15. Its a reality check on how ordinary our skills can be. It was just a constant groan today.
  16. I actually work with teddy fidge. He is pretty much body builder size now. Good bloke. Is very dirty with the dees, had a big falling out with barassi. Hes a brick S%$thouse.
  17. No change. It was an all round great performance. Why drop someone and bring someone in on "Reputation". All spots need to be earned.
  18. Agree with trengove. Has shown in SANFL that he has the ability to be a matchwinner in either defence or attack. Scully on the other hand is clearly one of the fittest players in the league and is not a worry.
  19. You can excuse the umpires for the holding the ball stuff. You have to consider the conditons and with the slippery surface comes fumbles, and slips. Inexcusable were the "touched" points and 2 out of bounds calls that were clearly throw ins.
  20. Hahah the 2 people who wanted Scully dropped must be taking the [censored]. 39 touches?
  21. Twice tonight we were robbed of goals. Twice tonight we were penalised for out on the full when it was in. It put's the collingwood loss in perspective. Compared to tonight against the pies we lost fair in fair. Tonight we were actually robbed by the umpires. Dean Bailey has every right to speak up against the umpiring. I'm quite happy to chip in for the fine.
  22. You would think their would be an afl standard for playing surface length and dimensions.
  23. Those wanting to drop Bartram??? Come on. He did an outstanding job on boomer harvey, and has done many great shut down roles this year. Get a grip.
  24. Horses for courses this week. Their 3 Ruckman/forward combo tear us up all the time.
  25. Real shame how he's travelling. He's one of my favourites but questions are being raised rightly so about him at the moment.
