Clayton’s one wood is his hands. Big reason for little impact.

Apart from the diabolical sub decision (can’t wait for this rule to be scrapped for Goodwins sake) this was a good coaching display. We denied the corridor and nearly pulled off an epic win with plenty of VFL standard players running around.

Good player, will make us better. Get it done. People thinking we will fall off a cliff because our best players are around 30 years old. Look at how well Boak and Pendlebury still are . Good players find a way to keep contributing. Best case is future 1st and keep this years pick 6.

Lack of depth and injuries bigger concern. Goody is a young, successful coach . Give him a chance with hopefully a deeper list and hopefully a bit more luck next pre season. Next few weeks will have a big say in his ability to motivate. We tend to really goto water when we know the season is over .

I can’t see a world in which we win tonight. I wonder how much last weeks loss sapped our confidence/motivation.

With Melksham back he’s lost his chance for Senior team. He had 17 rounds to claim his chance and fluffed it completely. You’d hope the penny drops and he comes back fit this pre season..

He went from completely out of his depth in the first half to looking like he had played 100 games in the 2nd. Got some real dash!

I def agree with that. He made it clear it was on him going back out there. I think there is some issues for what has happened during his hospital stay and perhaps lack of involvement from club that he seems cagy about.

The interview came across as not wanting to throw anyone under the bus as well as not just blatantly lying either. There is some hurt there no doubt .

I reckon he’s only getting games because we are petrified he will request a trade if we drop him and we see him as our long term full back. If he leaves at the end of season anyways will be a kick to the teeth.
