  1. There were a few plays where Kent's clean hands set up goals/scoring opportunities. He must be persisted with and played fully. JKH, Evans or whoever comes in for Terlich are my picks.
  2. Fitzpatrick can do some amazing things with his athletic ability but he doesn't seem to do the simple things well on a consistent basis. He was a project player but he is 23yo now. Honestly If you kick it to Fitz, anything can happen from simple spill to a falcon. If He has a shot at goal, it could go anywhere.
  3. ive never seen a kid more ready to play. a joke posters want to baby him at casey for another year. he played 15 games last year at casey n won the bnf. you got to play sometime. he has a month to rd 1 to get touch and get more miles. also gawn and fitz for rd 1. imo spencer only plays when every thing fails.
  4. Cheers Choko. Jiagars will be back. Will register when I get back to work.
  5. Same thoughts here. No disrespect to SANFL but Jordie dominates VFL too. Looking forward to seeing him properly and I still hold hope (albeit slim) for Jordie. Thought he had excellent hands and had a big future as a stoppage player when he first started but his offense has fallen away. We all think Trengove will improve under Roos so hopefully Jordie can too.
  6. It's interesting but what I thought it was a media watch style website. People can post articles that keep journalist honest. I would like to see an archive of some of the BS articles that journalist write that are way off the mark and that they get held to it. Footy media are not accountable and I wish we could set up a website that would.
  7. Everybody here thought that with the 2009 draft. Scully, Trengove, Gysbert, Tapscott, Gawn and Fitzy was suppose to be the draft that changed our fortunes. My vote goes to last year's recruit. Paul Roos.
  8. Jeremy Cameron. The kid was all-australian in his second year. It's going to be an on-going debate for years to come and I think Jesse Hogan will thrive with the competition.
  9. Depends on what you definition of slider is. A slider is someone who is in the 22 regularly who could be under pressure to lose his spot. Bail, Byrnes, maybe Jordie Mac aren't reg 22 and you can't slide if you're not in the team. MJones was best 22 last year and i think his spot could be up for grabs.
  10. Improvers Jack Trengove. I think Trengove rediscovering his game and excelling is just as vital to our midfield as the injection of Tyson, Vince, Cross etc brings. Jack Viney. As mentioned earlier, I think he would be disappointed with his first year. His half a dozen games were solid/pretty good for a first year player but you can tell he wants it. Max Gawn I think he will be a great ruck. Great hands and movement from a 208cm. I would like to see him coached more 1-1 as he should dominate the ruck at 208cm. Some more strength and tank and we've got a goodie. Don't want these players to fail but sliders are Jack Fitzpatrick. Just can't see him passing Hogan, Dawes and Clark. Sam Blease. His lack of tank might finally draw a close. Matt Jones. He doesn't impact games enough with his disposals.
  11. Jack Trengove. Trengove's chart was heading up early years and MFC needs him to fulfill his potential as a quality midfielder. Important part of the midfield core if we are to improve. Dom Tyson. The big midfield recruit. Looking to see what he can do. Jesse Hogan. Don't care he is the obvious one, just excited to watch him go.
  12. no way that is 28-1. Jesse Hogan is already 17-1 to win rising star. Getting on that. Top 8 is 15-1. So to get only 28-1, he has been ripped.
  13. that is not a criteria. That means we are happy with our draft pick James Strauss cause we could have done worse and drafted Tom Swift. Hope we draft Dom Sheed. Looks a pure footballer
  14. Disagree. That would mean if Ollie Wines was in this years draft, we would overlook him again. Dom Sheed for mine.
  15. Have always wondered why he never played in the midfield. Def worth a look in the rookie draft. Saad from the Saints also has been delisted. Sure he has drug investigation ongoing but think max was 12 games and it's just a rookie spot.
  16. Ollie has been said to be pretty loyal and would like to repay Power for their faith. He wants to make his own history rather then follow Viney around. Doubt that has changed.
  17. Garland Frawley Terlich Clisby McDonald Grimes Watts Tyson Vince Trengove Dawes Toumpas Hogan Clark Howe Gawn Viney Jones Int: Jamar, Kent, Michie Sub: Anyone Clisby is a question mark but is front runners to the position. He is my first pick out of the rest. Watts training as a mid/wing. Hoping he can get a tank and use his skills. Trengove and Toumpas listed as fwd in name only. ie genuine mids who rotate thru forward line. Gawn my choice of first ruck. Still think Jamar has a role to play but Fitspatrick if you want to go more mobile. Kent and Michie to play more mid time and rotate thru fwd line. I think thats a pretty solid team. Still more potential then output but feeling better about the team then last year.
  18. Most players just nominate for the actual draft. If Pies want Pat Karnezis to go PSD, He'll be picked up within 3 picks. Do it.
  19. exactly. dom tyson and james aish have the same risk/reward for been a star. plus we get pick 9 which could net us a freeman, crouch, kolodjashnij, bontempelli or sheed or billing hopefully.
  20. Agree. Pick 20 is overs for Vince. People have mentioned he will be then 2nd best mid while pick 20 might not make it. Are posters so certain with Vince? He can play but there are 2 Bernie Vinces. Ask any Crow supporter and they will tell you, he strings together some rubbish games. 28 year old too. Pick 20, Pick 36 for Bernie Vince, Lyon and Pick 42 would be my go. I actually like Lyon more then Vince.
  21. tore the meniscus in his right knee http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-08-12/michies-knee-blow should still see most of preseason. stress fractures in foot previous years.
  22. Anybody seen this kid play. Sure he sounds like Dangerfield type but so did Kane Tenace back in the day.
  23. Would offer up Pick 20 and Col Sylvia compo for Lyons and Kerridge
  24. Dew 2IC denied by swans. It'll filter out tomorrow in one of the rags.
