whelan was tried as a midfielder earlier in his career n failed miserably. Bell's being tried there n has failed miserably. Some ppl just can't play whilst being in the thick of it. I'm happy for him being a stopper/defender n running out of defence.

U'll still b getting no love. Bell's pushing hard for Whelan's number one best small defender tag. Get's lost in traffic. A midfielder needs to be aware 360 degrees around him. Bells got only 180.

haven't seen much of willy but from all reports, they earnt their spot. I have however seen Sandy n Newton n has not earnt his spot. Flashes but stupid selfish/glory hog still is a chink. I'm confident he can put it together but until he becomes a more complete footballer, he's a no atm. Having a shorter forward line in Yze, Green, (maybe Sylvia) is a better option then Jamar or PJ.

I do think we have decent list but they need 2 b steered in the right direction. We aren't the Weagles n we aren't the Swannies so why the hell r we copying their gameplan. We have totally different midfielders (Mclean, McDonald, Jones) to Weagles (Judd, Kerr, Embbley, Braun etc) so its stupid to follow them. Back to basic footy is needed 4 the demons. I have said we needed 2 trade white for 2-3 years now but his value is all but gone now so it might b wise to throw out one of Bruce, Green or Johnstone to c who bites n what they have 2 offer.

Bell's probable taken the mantle of best small defender away from Whelan n deserves first crack. Midfield however is a different kettle of fish. gets lost in the play. HB is his position.

Nah, I still think he's the most promising of the youth. His got all the tools n when he flicks that switch n becomes consistent, he'll b a star. Red heads aren't all bad u know.

Bartram deserves his spot 2 but agree with the rest. Sylvia, Pickett, Rivers/Bizzell, PJ 2 come in.

I know u luv Travis but he was not good last night. We all know his got silky skills but too many times he'll go for the impossible. It's called impossible for a reason. It's creeping into his games n sure he'll get applauded when he does something magical but something like 1 in 4 is pathetic. The disappointing thing about Miller is we can't give, Dunn a chance. Mayb PJ could fill the key role. He surely couldn't do that bad. The midfield should be our strength with 10-12 good playas running thru but like last year, we got smashed by the good teams there. Lazy n disspirited.

You know you're in trouble when you're in your 5th maybe 6th year and ppl r still arguing if the boy can play or not. I think with brad miller, it's the case of which is the lesser of 2 evils? Which position would he sux the least at. CHF is the position he least sux at.

Nice little read by those SEN boys. Overnight guys i'm pretty sure. Missed a few names including BATE, moloney n pau johnson. Overated a few names including Brown, Yze n White. Got a few names right including Mclean (supasta), Bruce (star) n Davey (Ignition). Got a few names wrong Miller (Defender).

its okay. I accept your apology. I would personally love to see miller go down back and shore up the backline. Being the third tall with carroll and rivers in the future but apart from beating hall on a couple of occasions, he has impressed me more as a presenting forward in the past. He made his name as a CHF in 2004 and 2005 and was touted as future captain but in 2006, played a bit more in defense and has struggled. You gotta play your players to their strength.

millers days as a defender are gone. I'll be happy if he presents and leads all day providing a target.

jeez, gave dunny a fair pasting. the bottom line is dunny is a smarter footballer who can create space for others while also jagging a few while millers a physically stronger and good hit up target. As Sat. showed we need a presence at CHF so these two boys should alternate as fwd pocket and CHF.
