I've been a Grimes fan and shattered he got so many injuries. Did injuries make him a lesser player or did his absence/injuries cover his flaws? Whatever the case, the fact is he regularly gives hospital handpasses, looks sideways/backwards or misses the target now. He doesn't give the ball to advantage and he is as small and physically weak as I can remember. If you were his teammate, you can't trust him. Last game, i was anxious about White and Grimes having the ball. White has played 1 game. Grimes 100. White is more upside.

Wondering if his second contract is less then his rookie contract. He needs to find a physical trait this off season. Don't know how you find extra speed but he looks like running on mud rather then his u18 glide.

I don't believe in keeping bad players on the basis of: 1/ He is not the worst. 2/ Shallow draft. If you don't have anything to offer, you're cut. I see something in Mitchie though. I think he is worth trying. MJones, DTerlich, RBail, Mckenzie, BNewton, ARiley, JFitzpatrick aren't.

It'll be interesting to see what people thought of Grimes game. He is closing on a hundred games but I still don't trust him as he panics or make bad decisions/execution. I don't trust Garland, Watts, Dawes, Lumumba. That's 5 senior players. Good luck young fellas

From a marketing point of view. YES. I would get MFC to find another big melbourne club (Hawthorn or Carlton) and make it a marquee game. Play a game Thursday night every year on indigenous round. Get all 82 indigenous AFL players to attend and participate in the War dance before the game. Thursday night would be perfect as it is a stand alone game and will allow interstate players to attend and participate. It will give the opportunity to show solidarity amongst indigenous AFL players and a proper way to celebrate and kick off indigenous round.

Selwood gets booed constantly. Ballentyne, Milne, Judd, Watson constantly gets booed. No racism when I say Adam Goodes is self righteous and just an attention seeker. It's all about Adam Goodes all the time. He could've done the war dance with Lewis Jetta, Buddy, Yarran, etc before or after the game in a show of solidarity but he chose to do it by himself after he kicks a goal. He is a champion on the game on field but Adam Goodes is all about his branding.

disagree. In the past 2 years Dawes has had injury interrupted preseason but did actually start really well but faded through the year. Was suspended for one game this year, not injured. Dawes is important but he hasn't been good enough this last 2 weeks

One player that we might get on the cheap who think will be a great player is Will Hoskin Elliot. Unfortunately he is unjured atm and light framed but the kid has talent.

Out: Frost In: JHK Frost and Dawes are playing the same role and Frost isn't a threat up forward. JHK makes good decisions and would like to see the JHK, Garlett and Kent combo. Dawes may have to suck it up and be 2nd ruck if he wants to play seniors.

That midfield makes me sick. Treloar (gun), Kelly, Whitfield Shiel and Coniglio, Ward and Griffen as well. I would stick Viney with Treloar. Cross with Ward. Will have to go head to head with the rest.

absolutely. We beat GC for speed and i'll double up against GWS. Kent, Garlett, JHK and Frost were buzzing. I still think they'll bring in Dawes and Vince for Toump and maybe JHK.
