Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Aaron Hall for Dom Tyson. Both have flaws but Hall fits our team better and suns get a ball winning mid. To get gaff as well and hunt to come back and improve, we will have better balance.

Changes vs Western Bulldogs
Out. Smith In. Josh Wagner Don't think Kent is ready so anb can run his 15k again.
-
Dom Tyson
Considering the money he is on, he is best 22 or on another list. Dom, Jeff, jayden should be best 22 on talent but our team is more evolved than that now.

Is Brayshaw more rounded than the Trac?
Disagree. Trac is very good forward. So dangerous that he spends more time there. Like danger n Martin, Will explode when his tank increases when they move to the middle fulltime. Angus looks like a pure midfielder. Isn't as effective as hb or hf so not as rounded as Trac

Dom Tyson
Don't forget his hospital handpasses. Apart from all that, he's alrite

Angus Brayshaw
He was bad early on. Losing multiple contests n pushed aside. Fought hard n found his way. Can build on from this game.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
His 1st quarter was atrocious. He was good in the second half. Made key plays n looked organised.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Hibb was a great player at essendon. The only thing letting him down was his body. Hibb was great value at 2nd rounder but if he stays healthy, it's a steal.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Jack Watts 2008 draft. Height:196cm Weight: 85kg Position: Key Forward Team: Sandringham Dragons Jack got up to 91kgs a few years ago but stripped off some weight to play mid/wing. SAm looks to attack at the ball in the air or looks in control in marking contests. Time will tell if he is better then Ben Griffiths.

Darcy Parish
Anyone who is small and slow gets the Sam Mitchell tag. Sam is a freak and while he succeeded, hundreds with Sam's physique have failed. Red flags everywhere.
-
Darcy Parish
I never really saw what everyone did in Scully, Toump, Morton but they were the obvious choice. Going with gut and saying pass.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Would be nice if the highlights showed where the ball went after he kicked it. Looked good though.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Really question posters when they say, "at least he's better then XXX". How is that a reason to get someone. Jace Bode is better then Isaac Weetra. Dean Terlich is better then Jace Bode. Anyone happy with those players. Do player X make us a better 22/team? I think Melksham will help us but he will be a role player. So not for a pick 6 or 22. 3rd rounder is fair.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
When asked what he thought about the rising star award and his competition for the award. "Sheed and esp. Cripps is going really well. Getting over 35 last week, mid 20's in the last month....(hesitates)... actually haven't really paid attention and just trying to improve himself" He is tracking everyone and wants to be better then everyone.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
Col Sylvia is an interesting comparison. Col was a beast u18. every much as petracca has dominated this year. MFC might have to take some of the blame with lack of leadership and development. Not every player is a born leader and sets standards. Some prob the majority needs to be shown the way. Col is ultimately responsible but MFC failed him too. Tentatively waiting for 7.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN PETRACCA
Josh Kelly is streets better then Petracca and we traded down last year. Hoping we trade.
-
Small forward?
MFC still looking for a small forward and we should look at Ahmed Saad from the Saints or Jeffrey Garlett from Carlton. Both teams are slightly stocked at small forward with Saad been in and out of the Saints team and Garlett copping abuse for been invisible. both are talented players and could thrive with hogan, clark and dawes. What we can offer. 2nd round pick (pick 20) is too high, should be used for a mid anyway and 3rd round might not get it done so might need a player trade. Maybe a Tapscott or a Fitzpatrick and a swap of picks. If Fitz's form holds, he could be worth a bit in trade week.
-
Josh Caddy
If he did that, it would cost a pick 4. People scoff at Caddy's ave 15 disposals. Trengove ave 17. if you were another club, you would scoff at Trengove and not pay pick 13 because of his year? Caddy will be good value at 13.
-
Josh Caddy
Considering he was injured for most of last year, he has had a decent year. People want to see more and Caddy to dominate but if that were the case, we would be looking to cough up pick 3. Posters rave about Viney's attack. Caddy has that. Pick 12 n Martin for Caddy might be a touch overs so maybe a Pick 12 n Martin for Caddy and GC pick 22. It if comes to push and shove, i would give up 12 and Martin for Caddy.

Anyone for cricket?
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/sport/i-refuse-to-quit-my-post-andrew-hilditch/story-e6frg7rx-1225985882788 Hilditch continued to insist he wants to remain as chairman of selectors beyond the end of his existing contract after the World Cup in April. This is despite refusing to do the job full-time because he wants to concentrate on his law firm. "I've still got the same passion for everything I can give to Australian cricket," Hilditch said. "So it'll be for someone else to tell me when I'm not required."

Anyone for cricket?
If soccer is boring, what do people make of cricket. If you count how much time the ball is actually in play/live, you might get a good 20 minutes of action a day. Not bad. Sit for 7 hours for one day and watch 20 minutes of action. Multiply that to 5 and happy days when you get a draw. Def unpredictable results in cricket too. Shocked we squeezed past the Windies and Chokeistan.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAX GAWN
The dude on SEN who's the recruiting expert from the AIS was a massive fan of Gawn. Said he was tearing games apart b4 he did his knee. He rates him the best of the ruck. Fitzpatrick's got sub 3 sec speed. Not too shabby for a 200+cm. Can't complain for a pick 50.

Anyone for cricket?
Have Australia shelved that Spirit of Cricket that they seem to preach all the time? It is embarrassing. Telling opposition to trust them with catches but never trusting the opposition when they claim it. Clarke spanking the ball to the slips and standing his ground. Haddin taking a wicket (from behind). I don't mind Australia playing hard and tough and pushing the boundaries but it drives me bonkers when they preach about the spirit of Cricket. Don't act holier-than-thou.

Tennis Anyone?
Nadal is a monster. What was it, producing 10 hours of quality within a 48 hour time frame. I still think Federer is the more (pure) talented player (just) but Nadal's got balls of steels. The higher the stakes, the better he plays. How many times did he produce in those clutch moments? Jordan like. No doubt he'll be captain if he ever played a team sport.
