  1. That might create problems, we wouldn't want to leave to go to the game.
  2. Team Posters mean nothing. I want a Premiership poster. My 1964 got lost somewhere in the last 10 moves.
  3. Any Landers going and sitting in lev 1 Aisle 41??
  4. Yeah it's about time we got a pub closer to the "G" A couple a jars prior to the game. Then hop a Tram to the Game. Or walk if you can. It all sounds pretty tribal to me.
  5. The previous half a dozen have been pretty C*&P. I just donate the balance to the club. Get your Granny to knit one. Bit hard for mine though.
  6. The oldest Pub for the Oldest Club. Just got an email A pint maximum for free after each Melbourne win. 10% of food. Starts tomorrow after our first win.
  7. Just checked in with Centrebet. A lot of money for the Saints. It could be even money by game time. (just the messenger)
  8. All trades will be looked at. Remember ROOS is not impressed by Draft selections. He doesn't want to waste time. He wants ready made players. Tex would be looked at provided the knee stands up this year.
  9. Soon as a player mentions he is not after the money. You can bet that is all he is after.
  10. You really don't think that will be the line up. About the only thing that's correct is the 25 players. They wont know who is going where until the saints players line up.
  11. I received mine yesterday. A real marketing toy. Especially at the end when asked if you would like to go into a draw to win a sign jumper by N.J. & J.G. Tick yes then you agree to receive all the sponsors crap for another 12 months.
  12. Aren't they the ones that don't bother selling return flights?
  13. Great reports Hood. I'm up FNQ. Could you add ay to the end of each statement?
  14. I reckon our first round draft pick which ultimately netted us Tyson & Salem
  15. Yes it is. Such a beautiful setting in the Rain forest. Food was amazing, wine was as all wine should be. Service was spot on. The stroll down the path afterwards was a little difficult. Recovery session today. Then off to Harrison's the French Restaurant Tuesday night. Flight home Wednesday. The good lady will go back to work Thursday. Duty calls for me, I must attend a lunch with mates at the Magpie & Stump at Wandong. Chicken Parma, salad and chips would be my guess. Life is pretty good even after some smart remarks. All I need is a win at Etihad, pie and chips and it tops off a great week.
  16. I didn't go to the commencement dinner. My smart arse remarks cost me big time. I'm up in Port Douglas enjoying the company of my beautiful wife. Getting ready for Dinner at Nautilus. Weather is a mild 31. F1 just finished well done Ricciardo on the podium finish.
  17. I have just finished listening to the podcast. It was done in 2 sessions. It brings back very good memories. We went to dances together at Powerhouse. Now that was a sight to behold 2 blokes with 2 left feet. But one kicked goals with the other.
  18. I worked with Gary for a few years. He was a trainee draftsman. He is 1 month and 23 days younger than my good self. We had a Chief Draftsman that was an insane Toiges supporter. (is there any other type) He said to Gary (lucky) as he was known to us. How do you find him to play against. Piece of p155 his reply. He doesn't have a right foot or handball so stand on his right side. That way he'll never get a kick or a handball. How right he was.
  19. China Southern Partner Airlines. Definitely no Malaysia Airlines, but the names don't roll of the tongue as reputable airlines. Don't mention Air France and KLM, bad experiences with both. Aeroflot Aerolíneas Argentinas Aeromexico Air Europa Air France Alitalia China Airlines China Eastern China Southern Czech Airlines Delta Air Lines Garuda Indonesia Kenya Airways KLM Korean Air Middle East Airlines Saudia TAROM Vietnam Airlines Xiamen Airlines
  20. A totally sad day for all football supporters. He gave his best and more for all the clubs he served. I never met the man personally, but admired the respect he got from the players. He didn't deserve the treatment he got from the media and the AFL. My condolences to all his family and close friends. R.I.P dean Bailey
  21. Macca, The only way I see Watts playing forward would be a high half forward. He has had the full preseason training with the midfield. I don't think ROOS is going to panic and start busting up plans.
  22. I was in Alice Springs the week after Melbourne Played Brisbane last year (last week of July) It was freezing at night temp got down to 1 deg C. I don't have any problems with playing games in Alice. I think it's just a player mentality, they got too far ahead of where they are really at. This has been a very real wake up call. Roosy will hammer this home over the next 2 weeks. I think he needed some ammunition to fire at them, he now has that. I can imagine the intensity at training will pick up and we will be a different team in 2 weeks. Remember it's only pre season no need to panic YET.
  23. Jesse was just running laps at the closed session on Tuesday. Jogging 100m Stretching out a bit more for the next 100m. Did about 4 laps with the physio then 2 laps on his own. He has a running gate like a pregnant cow, so it is really hard to gauge if he was carrying an injury.
  24. Give me Ling. No info, no source. Great skipper and doing some good stuff with the Roos.
