Macca, The only way I see Watts playing forward would be a high half forward. He has had the full preseason training with the midfield. I don't think ROOS is going to panic and start busting up plans.

I was in Alice Springs the week after Melbourne Played Brisbane last year (last week of July) It was freezing at night temp got down to 1 deg C. I don't have any problems with playing games in Alice. I think it's just a player mentality, they got too far ahead of where they are really at. This has been a very real wake up call. Roosy will hammer this home over the next 2 weeks. I think he needed some ammunition to fire at them, he now has that. I can imagine the intensity at training will pick up and we will be a different team in 2 weeks. Remember it's only pre season no need to panic YET.

Jesse was just running laps at the closed session on Tuesday. Jogging 100m Stretching out a bit more for the next 100m. Did about 4 laps with the physio then 2 laps on his own. He has a running gate like a pregnant cow, so it is really hard to gauge if he was carrying an injury.
