Do you think you will get a sensible answer from Wayne Campbell Umpiring advisor. Especially when it involved Richmond. I really don't understand hiring ex- AFL players as Umpire Advisors / coaches. Sure have them with footy backgrounds but not with AFL team bias.

My guess is someone may have been promoted to the final squad. If Terlich doesn't come up. It may well be Riley who gets promoted. My concern is if Frawley doesn't come up who do we put in at FF, Perhaps Gawn gets the job at FF changing with. Jamar.

Just got back from a very light training session. I arrived at 10am as the players were starting short kick to kicks. Shortly after Roos and Misson arrived and the group started some stretching exercises. They then went for a jog around the oval..Then formed up in the centre which was followed by loud cheering and a round of applause. They then split up into 4 groups of about 6 or 7. These groups appeared to be assimilating a defensive pattern where someone took a mark and one player in the orange vest stood the mark and they hand balled to each other until someone from the next group was able to break clear for a pass in the open. Some times this happened straight after the mark and others took about 5 handballs first. This was really the only training that happened. Roos walked around various players and spoke to them 1 on 1, Bails, Grimes, Dawes, Terlich, Watts. Frawley was missing, so I asked Misson whether he was OK. His response was 50-50. Terlich never partook in training, he walked a couple of laps then sent back to the club. There was a group doing so runs along the Boundary. Dawes, Nicho, Grimes, Cross, Jamar, Bail. I asked Crossy whether it was just a "General Soreness" group. He responded it was and was surprised that a lot more wasn't in the group. Training ended at 11:15am so nothing else to report.

The Doggies caused a lot of Professional Free Kicks. Which stopped us numerous times from taking advantage of getting the ball moving. Professional fouls should be penalised like in basketball. Crameri grabbing Dunn around the neck as McDonald was about to set off. Garland getting his leg held and not being paid free kick down field but Grimes given free kick further back. They did a lot of man handling which got passed the umps eyes. It was a disgrace.

We don't want him to become one of you favourite players Giro. you put the jinx on your favs. Sylvia, Moloney.......... Frawley. Dont nominate favourites for another 10 years at least.

I'd like to see Riley in, but I was just thinking that with the bye coming up, just leave it as it is and make sure everyone is cherry ripe for the Round 10 and on wards.

Very little written about Riley, but with 27 disposals must have done something right. I'd love to see him using those tree trunks to sit some tigers on their arse.

I just got home. How many goals did they snag from dribbles from the boundary. No-one standing anywhere near the goal line. The 8m kick to Minson in the 3rd quarter which he goaled from. They hunted the man and got away with it. Liam Jones what a tool. Cooney also. If those two aren't mentioned on Monday I'll give up.

It is a good effort so far D'Landers, but we still need another grand to hit the target to keep us afloat. C'mon boys and girls, give more before Hockey and Abbott take it away from us.

I still think he is the one. His role with the boners just whets his appetite to find out if he has the desire to coach or go media. I think he is football through and through and would want to be part of a club not just sitting on the sidelines talking about it.
