Talk about DH Policy can we have one here. Someone who makes behind the play cheap shots is not intimidatory in my book. He is just a coward.

No No No No Yes. Just ask Jim.

Going by the various descriptions, he could end up being our Inspector Gadget -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY KENNEDY-HARRIS

Interesting that Roos said during his Foxtel interview. That he didn't expect any of the draft kids to play AFL in 2014. It really is up to them whether they want it. They wont put a ceiling on what they can do. They have been told to join the club have fun a look for a player you want to model yourself on. -

Neeld made a lot of mistakes, but this wasn't one of them

That's a bold statement DD36 (not) How many really fit players will play 22 games let alone those with niggling injuries. Not too many I would guess. I would be quite happy if he played 16 games -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRISTIAN SALEM

I like Salem from his video. But wouldn't be disappointed with Freeman Lennon Scharenberg -
I have had a look at the videos of both Freeman and Salem. Freeman is quick but runs like a small player crouches down and keeps closer to the ground. his kicking lets him down. Salem on the other had runs tall, has good eyes to spot players on the move and is a deadly left foot kick. I don't think he has any right foot which could pose a problem when he steps into AFL. of the two I would go for Salem

It certainly wasn't BP that's for sure. Our selections are done by a team, ultimately the coach wears the accolades, who humbly will pass it on to Taylor & Viney.
-
Then he would suit playing for the Demons.
-
The club is doing the right thing by him. Letting him train keeps his fitness up and a chance to be drafted deep by another club or even Rookied by us or another club. It shows how close he was to being retained. I guess it all depends on how the cards fall and who is available at 57 for us. If there is no-one suitable he may be redrafted at 57.

At this time of year we have been saying for years that our aim was to get 20K by christmas. I believe we got that a couple of times, but just fell over the line. This year with Roos on board and Neeld overboard we may just be looking at somewhere near the 25K by Christmas. -

They won't be able to call us FLAT TRACK BULLIES anymore!!! -
Totally agree, and we are only aiming to improve this year not be world beaters. We will add to this midfield with a few more middies wishing to move on from elsewhere.

He looks like Gysbert in a different jumper -
We just don't know. Leadership Teams will set the parameters and the players will end up picking their leaders. It could very well be what you think. But I wouldn't like to guess at this stage.
-
To me the truly great leaders are the ones who go about their job and lead the others by the example they set both on and off the field. Tom Harley was a great example never sought attention, wasn't flamboyant but was respected by all the players, coaches, staff and supporters. Col is a very good candidate for captain. When he speaks people listen. he doesn't speak in clichés like a lot of others. He is a great thinker and a considered speaker.

We are not amused.

Don't be fooled by Jamars Stats. If he had hit outs to advantage then it would have shown up in the centre clearances and stoppages.
-
My eyes aren't flash. But I thought I saw Quinlan, Wilson, Pert.??

As has been stated in other threads. Roos will not recruit a small forward unless he has another string in his bow. He must be able to play midfield. We already have Evans who would be ideal as a FP rotating through the midfield.
